My five year old son at the start of his track and field experience.

Last week in the 100 meters he finished fith out of five.

This week he finished fourth out of four.

I see definite improvement!

If I can find out a way to eliminate the other three kids we have GOLD!

I love watching kids playing sports. All 3 of mine played AYSO soccer until 8. One continued with traveling team through 7th grade, then switched to track, eventually going for cross country. Made All-State in CC sophomore year. Good times.

Last week watched my friend's grandson, (7) playing flag football, so fun. The boys were so focused on the field, but when they sat on the sidelines, played with water bottles, practice spitting and just being boys.

Once a Middle Eastern country get's the Olympics spitting will become a medal sport.

Of course, just like the Koran, I am only speaking metaphorically.

Oh I am just having fun Ms. Bones.

I don't pressure him, he likes the entire atmosphere and makes a lot of friends.

He is actually quite good at soccer, we see how that goes this summer.
