Little African Innovator

This is the kind of initiative and ingenuity that Africa needs more of to become industrialized. Hopefully this kid will produce a lot of children.

There are in fact several of the same caliber of our little Kenyan boy in Africa. Problem is, the so-called educated often shunt them in the same manner the FDA and US doctors often shunt non-conventional doctors and inventors of cures of various diseases.

I will never forget an incident in Cameroon when I was there as a child: The port of Cameroon was being revamped and its development included blocking certain bayous in nearby farming towns. Elders in these towns warned Cameroonian and Europeans Engineers that such interruptions would create problems for the nearby towns. Of course, the "illiterate" farmers whose knowledge merely came from years of managing and observing their ecosystem were mocked and ignored. During the Raining Season and months after the completion of certain portions of the development of port of Cameroon, the river overflowed for lack of exit routes and nearby towns were flooded, resulting in lost of lives and hundreds of livestock in those nearby towns.

While the classroom engineers from Cameroon and Europe had some knowledge of what they were doing, the townspeople were first class Engineers whose valuable knowledge were overlooked. They are lots of priceless Educators, Engineers, Innovators, etc. in Africa who are often ignored simply because their wealth of information were not acquired in the classroom.
