Please add to the list of things you've done are are about to do to get ready for winter.

Changed furnace filter.
Changed oil in my snowblower.
Rain-X on the windows of my truck.
Oil change in my truck. Added -20 windshield washer fluid. Tire pressure was good.
Checked the survival preps in my truck...made a list of things to get.

I need to get wiper blades.

Mine's grey rabbit. Swank!

Get the shovel out of the shed and close to the house door .
WD40 the shovel blade .
Blow out the gutters and get the twigs off the roof .
Clear the water out of your hoses so they don't freeze .
Put out street markers before the ground freezes so plow trucks know where your curbing is .
out the glass panels in your screen doors .
Pick up a few bottles of Jamesons

Get out a heavy sweatshirt. When you stay in Southern Texas in the winter not much need for more then that as far as getting ready goes.

Uuuuuuuuuhhhh....nothing?
We prepare for summer and hurricanes around here.
Although I will break out my hunting gear and sweatpants.....ya never know when ya might want ta hang out on the back porch.

I washed all my sweaters and am awaiting new turtlenecks.

We have already been taking the chill out of home in the am, so it was time for a tune up of the furnace.

It will be non stop mowing the lawn to grind the leaves from now until the first snowfall. (the big thing every year as we have lots)

I keep the freezer and pantry well stocked all year.

I also have new slippers that come over my ankles for the house, very warm.

I think I need new wiper blades.
