(March 17) -- Over the past few weeks, the White House has been casting right-wing talk show host Rush Limbaugh as the head of the Republican Party, and based on a new CBS News poll, it appears they may be onto something. According to the poll, Limbaugh’s favorable rating stands at just 19 percent, a full 43 points lower than President Barack Obama’s.

The poll also found that Republicans are relatively pessimistic about the future of their party. Just 40 percent believe the party is going in the right direction, while nearly as many – 36 percent – say it is going in the wrong

Obama has an unfair advantage, Limbaugh can't interrupt American Idol and every other show on tv to read his teleprompter for 45 minutes.......

or interrupt regular programing to eat his soup on national television. Man I miss The Western Whitehouse.:(:(:(

Silly waste of a thread. Limbaugh only has one rating that means anything and that's the Neilson rating on his show. If that stays high, he'll see Obama come and go just like Clinton.

If it doesn't stay high, it wouldn't matter if 95% of the people loved him, he'd be out on his ass.
