For telling his listeners to vote for Hillary in the primaries in order to drag out the democratic process. That did two things:

1. Made Obama a sharper candidate ready fora general election and

2. swelled the apparent number of 'hillary voters' which played into McCain's choice to puick a woman as his VP.

If Limbaugh hadn't pushed for his listeners to vote Hillary, Texas and Indiana could have gone to Obama in the primaries, Obama would have it wrapped up and been a less strong candidate and this whole PUMA/hillary voter thing would have never gotten the legs it did, and McCain would have picked Pawlenty or Jindal. McCain would have won.

It's odd that you seemed to be indicating that my position regarding Americans is incorrect, YET you completely avoided defining American as you understand it...

Now my thinking on this is that you needed to maintain as vague a profile on this as possible, because if you WERE TO DEFINE it... you'd have to define it to such a minimal degree that the concept "American" would be rendered roughly MEANINGLESS... You'd probably try to claim that being an American is a simple function of being born in the US... or perhaps you'd take the very common path amongst leftists and claim that to be an American all one needs to be is born in the AMERICAS... somewhere on the American continent.
