Limbaugh On How To Fix Detroit: 'Get Rid Of Every Liberal In Government'...

George Bush was not Conservative. Only the misguided and uninformed claim he was. He was almost as much a Socialist/Progressive as Obama is. There's no real difference between the two. Obama's policies are just an extension of Bush policies. If real Conservatives did run this country,Detroit wouldn't be Third World right now and our Nation's future wouldn't look so bleak. It is what it is.

Oh NOW he's not a conservative. Only he won the presidency TWICE as a "conservative".

The reason he isn't well liked is because he exposed to Republicans that their policies are all failures. Now they try to insist those policies were really Obama's policies.

W expanded the Federal Government, increased spending, increased deficits, grew the debt and trampled states rights.

That's a Liberal.

Because the Big 0 has expanded the failed policies of the Bush administration, W seems less Liberal.

Less pregnant?
No, that is a typical CON$ervative IN ACTION, not a CON$ervative TALKING.

Is he right?

Has he ever been right?

Remember, it was his ilk that wanted to car industry to go away.

You do realize that filing for bankrupcy doesn't make the company "go away" but allows them to restructure so that they become a profitable business right? Or are you so partisan that you dont bother to understand things that make your brain hurt?

And yes, He's been right along time. If you think you can blame conservatives for over half a century of liberal corruption in Detriot, then you are shere denial.
He's completely happy with the way obama screwed GM's creditors and turned over controlling interest to the UAW.

So suggesting that we need to get rid of the corrupt party that has dominated politics in detriot for the last 50 years is silencing dissent? You do realize the lack of dissent is the problem and it's not the progressives that have been silenced.

Nobody has been silenced. The people vote for whom they want. Anyone is free to run for office on whatever platform they choose.

People will vote for whoever gives them free shit. The 50% of people in Detroit that depend on some form of entitlement are going to vote to fund the gravy train until they run out of gravy.

Without pointing fingers at Democrats,Liberals, Conservatives, or Republicans, look at the policies put into place in Detroit and the state of Detroit. How is that working out say compared to Houston, Miami, Atlanta, or San Diego? Should Detroit be more like these towns for positive change or should they be more like Chicago, Philadelphia, or San Francisco?

Regardless of your political philosophies, if you had money (aka Capital) to locate in Detroit or another City mentioned above, where would you choose now? Considering....

- Workforce
- Schools
- Crime
- State and Local Taxes
- Regulation
- Litigation

Temperature and Climate are not a consideration for this exercise. (For expanded discussion, compare/contrast North Dakota vs. Michigan).
