I love metal. Like any genre, the bad outweighs the good but in terms of complexity and artistry, some of it rivals classical. Not a huge fan of pink floyd but calling them talentless is crazy.

If you have their movie soundtrack Zabriskie Point and all the Syd Barrett stuff all on the original mint LP's then you are indeed a fan. Frankly, I thought the early stuff far outclassed the later, more commercial stuff after they got famous.

I don't own original mint LP's, but I do have all the LP's, then the 8-track and cassette and finally, CD's and I have them all transfrered to digital MP3 files on a 256g thumb drive. Included are the movies and soundtracks.

However, I thought they managed to get better when Waters left. I do like their Division Bell stuff almost as much as Darkside.

In fact, I was just at the NY State Fair to catch their tribute band. The State Fair seriously pissed Me off though. I thought they were to perform on the Chevy Stage and none of the literature stated they had been regulated to some backwater stage behind Vendors row. I sat through two hours of a group called migos. Three drugged out, talentless fucking hacks that were so stoned they couldn't even perform, not that anyone could tell as their music was a cross between hyenas scratching fleas and coyotes having sex with Rosi O'Donnell.
