I can't remember which Lloyd-Webber musical it was but I heard Puccini "Girl of the Golden West" on the radio and I swore I heard a melody (?) (I'm not educated in music but my old music teacher gave me a great riddle in French, that's all I remember, oh that and I couldn't learn to play the trombone) that Lloyd-Webber featured in one of his musicals. This was in the mid-1990s. I've kept quiet about it until now. When they knighted him I thought if I spill my guts they'll get MI5 onto me so I kept shtum.
