It looks like Misurata did take Beni-Walid, which only exacerbates the situation in Libya.

With the taking of Beni-Walid, Misurata gets access to both Gadamessky oil basin which puts it in conflict with Zintan tribes; and to Sirt oil which puts it in conflict with not only Gaddafi tribes, but also with with Bengazi rebels who currently control Sirt.

Now Bengazi and Zintan will have to either do something with Misurata or make room for it by the "oil trough".
