You misinterpret the argument. Hillary couldn't get over the hump, no matter how hard Her camp tried. Had Edwards crumbled sooner, she would have been Your Candidate, and probably President now. The chink in Her Armor opened the door for the unknown, and the joint blitz including the National News goon squad sealed the deal for Him, keeping Him untouchable.

McCain should not have been Our Nominee in the first place. How many Red States did He lose in the Primary? He was an Ass Before as He is now. He should join Arlen Specter. None of that was Sara Palin's fault. We lost the Race when He became the Republican Candidate. That said, at the time Between Sarah, Hillary, and Barry, Hillary was the most qualified, though I would not support Her, Sara had the most Executive Experience, and Barry probably voted Present, more than all of the others combined.

My first choice was politically assassinated or rubbed out before Primary season ever started, which is why I feel it is not important for Democrats to know where We are headed from here on out. I never supported Him. Senators only know how to spend and obstruct flow. They Govern badly, always have, yet always show up on the ticket. So, let me get this straight.

Both NYcarbineer and myself pointed out that this thread was started off with an analogy by CrusaderFrank, in which he's trying to mock Obama by comparing him to Sarah Palin - since both campaigned for losing candidates last week.

The thread title, and first lines of his post, are:

I immediately poked fun at "Frank", since in his analogy Sarah Palin would be "the leader of" the Republican Party, just as Obama is the leader of the Democratic party.

Personally, I rather think most Republicans would NOT consider her the leader of the party - hence, the humor (which seems to have gone right over the heads of some people, or maybe I'm just not a funny guy, whatever)

NYcarbineer made essentially the same joke, asking how many others agreed with Frank that Sarah was the leader of her party (since, in Frank's analogy, she would be).

I'm immediately castigated by three or four wing-nuts who accuse me of either being too stupid to see that Frank was talking about Obama (because, as one of them pointed out, since "libruls love abortion and hate the death penalty", it must logically follow that we couldn't follow Frank's erudition ).

Other conservatives (at least one) immediately try to point out that I "apparently" missed the point of Frank's thread, and that I "selectively" cut and pasted his post, and that Frank's whole point somehow "slipped past" me.

Are you all being really honest here? You REALLY don't see the humor in Frank's making an analogy - in an attempt to mock Obama for Corzine's loss - in which Sarah Palin would be analogous to Obama. Thus making her the leader of the party in Frank's little joke.

If none of you has the guts to just admit that what I just wrote is a fair analysis of Frank's analogy, and that both NYcarbineer and I were making valid (even if unfunny to you) attempts at humor, rather than somehow "missing the point" of Frank, then the lot of you lack any honor at all. Just pathetic if true.

As for Frank - this is a guy who posted, in this thread, such gems as:

As compared to Senator McCain's "executive experience" in government? Oh wait, he had none.

Or Senator Bob Dole's "executive experience"? Oh wait - he also had none.

Or George Bush Sr's "executive experience" in 1988 (when I voted for him, actually)? Oh wait - also NONE.

Of the last four Republican nominees, only Bush Jr. had any executive experience in government, and that was as governor of the state in which the governor has almost no actual authority. And gosh, he turned out to be such a great president, that 53% of people voted for a guy with little experience - Obama - rather than pick anyone even remotely associated with Bush.

The whole "executive experience" thing is clearly only a partisan ploy, to be whipped out in use against your opponent's candidate if he has none, but completely ignored when your own candidates lack it.

If it really is so damn important to you, than yes, NYcarbineer is right: you should vote for Obama in 2012. If it's not that important, than why bother ranting on about it? Unless you're being an intentional partisan hack.

Palin quit because she was crippled as governor and prevented from doing her job as governor by repeated, fraudulent claims that she was breaking the law. Thanks to the Dem machine, she had become a liability instead of an asset to her state.
