Libertarians for Trump

One of the reasons I'm not a Libertarian party member is because strict Libertarians tend to be too rigidly ideological. They don't know how to dial it back a notch or two. Take Ron Paul for example. I loved the guy and supported him until he made a total ass hat of himself by proclaiming we should legalize all drugs. I mean, that was just a bridge too far for me.

I consider myself to be a Conservative-Libertarian but I realize I live in a representative democracy where other people have opinions too. Sometimes we have to find ways to compromise. To maintain our core convictions but accept that society might not always agree with us and we should seek ways to work together. I don't agree with Trump on everything but I'm willing to give the man a chance and see what happens because the alternative is unpalatable.
