Liberals: The "RICH" keep more of there wealth, they are given nothing

The rich keep getting richer, and the poor poorer.

Rather than taxation, regulation, and subsidation... perhaps we should try some more effective means to reach prosperity: Citizen Socialization of Industry, Money based on Gold and Silver, Formation of Voluntary Cooperatives.

Well maybe the poor should get off their lazy asses and work. Or if they are "under-educated" then pick up a book and learn something, then go get a job.

I'm tired of hearing that the poor are getting "poorer", even if that is true how is it any way anyone else's fault and not their own? As if tax dollars are going to ever help people out of being "poor".

Didnt you guys (tea partiers) just run a woman for office that used to be on welfare? I saw her on Hannity. And what is funny is that she used to be on welfare but now she isnt.

You draw your money from our society and you are expected to contribute back. It is part of being a member of a civilization. Those who exact the most from our society are expected to contribute more. That is where the wealthy come in.

And exactly how have the wealthy not "come in?" They are paying more than everyone else. Even with all of the tax loopholes they are paying the bulk of taxes in this country. The problem isn't with them; it's with people like you who think it's never enough.

Tell me, since you're such an authority on what other people should be paying, why don't you share with us how much money in taxes you paid last year and we'll all decide whether or not you paid your fair share. Sound good to you?

The Constitution gives Congress the authority to collect taxes. The amount of taxes each individual is required to pay is determined by our elected officials. Over the last 30 years (think Reagan) the percent of taxes required of the wealthy has been slashed while their accumulation of wealth has magnified. Meanwhile, the earnings of working Americans have stagnated

I paid more in taxes last year than the average American family makes. I don't know if that is a reflection on my earnings or how little the average American family earns

How bout your contribution?

There you go again
who said anything about a woman?
who said anything about welfare?
The man said to get your lazy ass up and get a job
there are many people on welfare that have no other place to go
in addition
the thread speaks for its self
the US govt allowing you to keep more of your wealth is not the same as the govt giving anyone wealth

I'm not the one up the ass of everyone else who makes more money than me and constantly pissing and whining about how unfair it is that they have more than I do every single day. That's your gig.

I've never been to a "tea party".

I didn't run any woman for office, so I have no idea who you are talking about.

If anyone was on welfare and is now off of it, it would be because they got off their ass and starting working. Is that somehow a bad thing?

If that is true then you are paying too much in taxes and deserve to have your tax rate cut. Because even an idiotic liberal like yourself can spend his own money better than the government.

Uh, well if that was the story that would be a valid point, but it wasnt. She was on Hannity talking for an entire segment, said how welfare helped her climb out and some other stuff about how bad Obama was.

Doesn't harm them either...

But it does help to balance the budget

There isn't a person in America, (who does their taxes as required), who should pay a cent more in tax increases until the fat, and fraud is cut from government.
Doing that along with some serious tax reform, (I favor a flat tax), would go a long way toward easing peoples anxieties.

It is very difficult to swallow tax increases when you see the bullshit going on, and funding of things that government has no business being involved in. Being pretty much retired I wouldn't likely be affected too much, but that has fuck all to do with supporting what I perceive is right.
Only a liberal could be arrogant enough to think they are entitled to the property of another with no regard for how efficiently it is used.

Malcom if the rich are getting richer its not because the govt is taking there wealth. To make money it helps 99% to have it to start with
But why is it anyone cares about that? why the class war fare?
I have spent the last 20 years of my life working all over this country to make a living. I have worked on 40 different projects. And if the good lord will give me 15 more healthy years I will have some cash put back
Malcom you can do the same thing
I pick the right wife I am there now

Your wanting a even distribution of wealth system
Thats fine
with respect move to China

With all due respect, China is less Communist than America at this point.

I don't want an even distribution of wealth, nor do I want class wafare. It is not a "class war" for the poor and working-class to stand up for themselves, to strive for prosperity, to take control of their own economic future.

That's not class warfare, that's class unity.
You are confused, china has communist gov't. We still are a republic with a democraticlly elected gov't. Although there are people in this country that want to tear that down like obamaturd, clinton, reid, pelosi, ayers and the ever lovable moore, idiots.

Nobody exists in a vacuum......you are part of the whole
Socialist!!!

Well majority of Americans, 81% say that the rich need to be taxed more. Thats the majority if you suck at math. Americans know the rich get off way too easy in this country and its tie to pay their fair share.

You still haven't told us, so how am I the coward? Don't turn this around on me.

It does absolutely no such thing. You could tax everyone in this country making a million dollars a year or more at 100% and it still would not cover the deficit for just this year.

You people need to stop acting like a bunch of six year olds and come to grips with reality that we cannot continue to spend money we don't have and that other people are obligated to pay your way.
