LIberals should thank the rich, thank capitalism

We made the rich fork it over.

WTF???????????????? So.. NY Carbohydrate sits on his ass waiting for someone else to "fork it over"

Sounds like he's nothing more than a common beggar. Typical NY'r..... tax the shit outta everybody... everybody else. BTW... how's NY doing these days? When they aren't cowering to an Islamic cleric and running Rush Limbaugh outta town and then whining about losing his tax $$.

We forced the rich to give up slavery, child labor, dangerous working conditions, we forced them pay better wages for the work that was making them rich. We forced the 8 hour day on them, overtime rules on them, equal pay for women on them. One thing after another that led to a more prosperous working/middle class in the country was forced upon the rich,

who never otherwise would have willingly given up any of it, had they had their way.

That is what 'fork it over' means.

Okay, so now we all got it pretty good. So why the hatred and witch hunting of the rich?

BTW, all those things you listed that WE (America) got rid of? Still happening in socialist and communist nations across the planet. Just in case you wondered why Glen Beck was concerned about all the socialist and communist leaning friends of Obama.

Thats why we are baffled at you lefties. The things you just described are all things that far left government leads their people to. China? North Korea? USSR? Cuba? Venezuela? See where we're going with this? We've moved on from those conditions for our people. Why start drifting to an ideology that will lead us back?

There are rich people in virtually every country in the world, even the poorest.

The difference between those poor countries and us??

We made the rich fork it over. If we hadn't, we'd just be another dirt poor country with rich people at the top like all those other poor countries.
....While the rich/1%ers build monument$ (to themselves), elsewhere.....

I am a Democrat because I believe in helping those in need. All of us, you and I, have an obligation to those less fortunate. You go first, okay? I'm a little short this week.

We have an obligation to help those less fortunate and provide an OPPORTUNITY for them to work.

But when they sit on welfare for generations and do nothing but watch TV, talk on the phone and buy lottery tickets, well, my obligation ends somewhere around there.

I always use the analogy, would you allow your grown children to sit around your house, eat all your food, not work and sleep all day well into their twenties? I would think not. And why not? Because you are doing them no favor in doing so.

Well, now NOLA, the Obamacare bill was just made law, and it says a person can remain a child until age 26 (yeah, I know, freakin' TWENTY SIX) to stay on mommies healthcare plan.

So..........aren't all 26 year olds entitled to that life? After all, Nancy Pelosi said artists and musicians in SanFran can now "pursue their art" having healthcare rather than settle for one of those annoying little 9-5 jobs just to get coverage. Right??????

Because they are clueless... even Raul Castro is telling the enslaved Cubans that the public tit is dry. 25% + public layoffs... to start. The Cubans are being told to go start a business!

No, here we have the neo-communists clammoring for that which has failed... everywhere. Talk about being decades behind the curve.

brilliant!!!

This is a thread about 20-year-old unsourced assertions made by the Heritage Foundation. :eusa_eh: And without much of a point to make.

WRONG!!

The heritage foundation only posted the findings. As usual a liberal attacks the source, not the data.
Yeah....Libruls totally-missed the Heritage pro-White-Trash-spin, right??

"However, the fact that there are fewer Americans living in material poverty than the official Census poverty report indicates, does not mean that the War on Poverty has been a success. Welfare spending seriously diminishes work effort and earned income. The largest effect of increased welfare spending is not to raise income but merely to replace self- sufficiency with dependence. Welfare also undermines family structure. In 1965 the black illegitimate birth rate was 28 percent; today it is 64 percent. Properly measured, the number of persons in material poverty has shrunk since 1965, but at the unnecessary cost of producing a burgeoning underclass. The current welfare system has created entire communities where work is rare, intact families virtually unknown, and dependence on government a way of life passed on from generation to generation."

HA! Wrong also.

The difference between those poor countries and us? We have FAR more rich people, almost an absurd statistic to even bring up really in comparison. And when a poor/middle class American lands on the soil of 95% of the rest of the world, that American automatically becomes one of the richest in that nation.
....And, the more-Patriotic rich don't do all-that-badly, either.

(Hint to right wingers) The answer to the above riddle is pure envy. They hate the rich and capitalism because despite their wonderful life as Americans, they are so jealous and envious of those who have more that they want to play the role of the oppressed. The facts simply dont' buy that though!!

What about the incredibly large number of very rich liberals? Do they envy themselves?

The 2 richest men in the country are VERY liberal. Who is it that they envy?

No, they are an evolved class of liberals. They've overcome their financial envy, but then become obsessed with social envy.
Yeah.....ya' gotta watch-out for those community-organizers!!!!

The wealthy would not be wealthy without working people.

So while you're out there praying at the altar of Capitalism and sucking off the boss, you might want to save a few strokes for the workers; they don't ask for much.

Oh boy this is a good one.

Let me correct you.

The wealthy wouldn't be wealthy without customers. Technology can often replace lazy, inefficient workers. The lucky ones who work hard can stay though.

But....

The working people wouldn't be "working" people without a wealthy person paying their asses!!!

But yeah, they don't ask for much. And they get paid a fair wage. Hell, fair enough to make the American working people among the 5% wealthiest human beings to ever live.

But never forget that. The "working" people are only "working" because a rich company or boss has enough extra "profit" (evil word) to pay them. Thats why having the government take that profit.....to enable the company to create more workers....does....not.....make.....sense.

Except to a liberal:lol::lol::lol:

Right, the boss says "geez, I have some extra profit. I'll lbe a good samaratin and give some people a some jobs".

The employer/employee relationship is symbiotic. You do know what symbiotic means, don't you?

The USSR made "the rich fork it over". Capitalism doesn't. Thats why capitalist nations attract the best and brightest, because they see opportunity to earn wealth.

In your fantasy world of "make the rich fork it over" the state would go bankrupt because the rich would flee. Wait, it's not fantasy, it's called California, Illinois and New York. Thats why rich people are starting to leave those states.

So, now I'll await the left's real response to this thread. You know, the one in which they justify how the poor of this country are extremely well off relative to the whole human population, but somehow are still the victims of the rich and are owed even more, despite living a global standard middle class lifestyle off government handouts alone.
Are you trying to make an argument that the poor should be dismissed because they have it so good? Is this your rationale?
I'm thinkin' it's more like an appeal....maybe, asking-permission....to regain a balance within American-culture....like "conservative"-ancestors, before them, had accomplished.

Being a capitalist down to my toenails I ain't interested in spreading my wealth. I BUST MAY ASS for every dime I EARN. If the DOWNTRODDEN are waiting for a handout from me, well they have a long assed wait. I just wish my tax dollar wasn't going there.

However, if all those libs out there want to spread THEIR wealth and take care of all the poor downtrodden, by all mean feel free. LOL

Well, the left never produces anything except new government programs and wealth redistribution schemes, which of course payment for is always the responsibility of someone else (the "rich"?), I tend to agree.
....Especially after all o' the work (into which God puts so much effort) making more room for the rich, huh??

No. I'm making the argument that the poor who have it relatively good should quit bitching about how bad they got it. They (liberals) bitch and whine about how the rich have screwed the poor so much, and how capitalism is so bad, when in fact, American Capitalism has produced a "poor" class that by global standards isn't just living among the most well-off humans on the planet, but largely doing so on government handouts.

By global standards, a "poor" American is living a comfortable middle class lifestyle off government handouts. The Census facts in the links prove that without question. A woman on welfare can earn $18,000+ in government handouts. Add to that an extra $12,000 a year (just $1,000 a month) through a small part time job at fast food or convenience store, and her total income would be $30,000. Off gov't handouts and part time work.

But hey, I'm sure some rich guy is out there in his yacht, and we can't have that when there are poor people living safe, comfortable lives off government handouts now can we?
Yeah...I'm sure that's what keeps White Trash from buying yachts.

Liberals, this is your chance to respectfully thank the rich

You do know that on the average Libs EARN more than you lazy CON$ervative slackers, don't you???? So according to you the rich Libs are envious of themselves. :cuckoo:

You are actually PROJECTING your own CON$ervoFascist hatred and envy on the more successful and high achieving Libs, rather than getting up off your lazy ass and getting a job, you leech.

Even Stuttering LimpTard knows he is a pauper compared to the wealthy Libs he is so jealous of.

RUSH: Now, the super rich, they're protected by their friends in Congress.* The people that are rich with no income.* You ever wonder why all these rich Democrats always support tax increases?* 'Cause they don't pay them, either, because they don't have earned income.* I'm talking about the super rich who inherited a bunch of money or worked for a lot of money and then retired and have that nest egg of gazillions of dollars and it earns investment income.

So... what are you wanting them to "fork over to you" today? It never seems to end, you always want something from somebody. And also, what is it that you are doing to improve the world these days? What are you forking over?

Never end? What? The average American family is working longer to pay the bills now than they were 50 years ago. The two-earner household is commonplace nowadays, so common that few people even find it remarkable, except that 50 years ago it was rare; 50 years ago 1 earner in the household could pay the bills, buy the home, the car, the necessities, and the average luxuries of the time and the family was fine.

What IS it with you rightwing nuts that you so much want the average American to have less, and work harder for it?

That's a disturbing pathological condition.

The rich don't have enough and working people make too much.

Sickening.

Libtards listen up and listen good.
There is this thing called globalization going on. Guess what it ain't stopping under Obama just like it didn't under Bush. Not only is the average family making less (they actually have way more assets in the homes now, but that's way over your heads) they will make even less in the future. Mexico and China are doing the snapping together, India and Argentina are starting to do back office work.
If you don't go to college and join the skilled set you'll be pushing the ball up hill your hole life in all likelyhood. Personally I went to college because I was lazy and didn't want to do hard labor, that and school was easy.
