Liberals not happy until every job shipped to China

Let's do an exercise in logic. Trade unions: Liberal or Conservative? Are Trade Unions in favor of trade agreements like NAFTA? Did NAFTA make it easier or more difficult to outsource work to Mexico?

A liberal is too stupid to debate with really. Do you want to make international trade illegal and then trade between states to preserve jobs???
You're right. I am too stupid to debate with really.

Liberals are not opposed to international trade. We favor fair trade, not free trade.

And where on earth did you figure that the constitution would make Liberals "illegal"? Do you love America and just can't stand Americans?

dear, the entire purpose of the Constitution is to limit federal government to a few enumerated powers. The purpose of liberalism to oppose America. Why do you think liberals spied for Stalin and gave him the bomb??

Why do you think BO had 2 communist parents and voted to the left of Bernie Sanders??

why not eliminate it altogether. It is a redundant tax since it is passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices. We have it only because it appeals to the pure ignorance of liberals.

Without the tax business could concentrate on business. GE for example has 1000 full time tax professionals who direct much of GE business to avoid taxes. Its a total waste of time money and efficiency.

I see. So corporations who use the most of our resources, poison our land and air and make us sick with the garbage they sell owe NOTHING to their communities and this country? They should be taxed MORE, since they don't pay hardly anything to begin with. And we should make it illegal to pass that cost on to their customers. I've had it with you righties just wanting to give this country to corporations to ruin. Don't you morons see what that would lead to? You WANT a plutocracy nee fascism? Short-sighted imbeciles, all of you.

They should be taxed MORE, since they don't pay hardly anything to begin with

Kill the greedy kulaks, eh comrade?

And we should make it illegal to pass that cost on to their customers.

And then we should make gravity illegal.
'Cause it would be cool to float around.

Gee, I remember when buying an American car, and buying stuff with "Made in America" was the thing to do.

Our country has had such happy times during my life. It was especially nice when we supported each other.

The idea that the Framers wanted a tiny government is bizarre. It's certainly not supported by their actions.

you mean when they ran the government under their Constitution they started Welfare SS Medicare, Medicaid, built a huge military,
and spent 25% of GDP, and proposed an insurance mandate???

See why we are positive liberals are slow, very slow???

They didn't have those things,

so that means they wanted those things???? Dumb????

. They were practical men who realized societies evolved over time.

yes and the last thing they wanted was for government to evolve bigger. Every inch of the Constitution was to limit necessary but evil government!!!Ever hear of the Bill of Rights, for example??

See why we are positive a liberal will very very confused.

They seemed pretty okay with stronger government, noting that wrote the Constitution in the first place because the Articles of Confederation were too weak. As for would they want Medicare, Medicaid, etc., how the hell would be possibly know. Even if we traveled back in time and asked them, they wouldn't really have a meaningful response because medical technology was archaic in the 1700s. Most people don't realize that, but before the early 20th century, the hospital wasn't a place of treatment, it was where you went to die if you didn't have any family or had something people could catch.

It was "the thing to do" because we were most of the world's industrial output and transportation costs were higher. If you had the same market incentives back then that you have today, the result would be the same.

I try to follow your logic but it is painful and boring. You don't know any more than anyone else what the framers would think of the world we live in today. OK the framers built "the foundation" of the big house we all live in together. A reasonable man would look at the size of the house noting the strength of the foundation. He would take a census of who the house needed to shelter before deciding it was too big. If there was more space than needed maybe he would reduce the size of the house. Only a complete fool would suggest that the house should be razed to the "foundation".

they knew government was evil, thats why for example, they gave us the Bill of Rights, but that was before Hitler Stalin and Mao (the great 20th Century liberals) and before our liberals spied for Stalin and gave him the bomb. And that was before BO with his two communist parents, and before the liberal welfare Great Society near genocide against American blacks.

We are positive what our Founders would think of todays liberal governments

Except that they didn't really give us the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights was a sop given to opponents of the Constitution.

nice change of subject when you don't know anything.

Anyway, both sides wanted the Bill of Rights but one side was scared that by bringing it up it would get the government involved in basic rights which, given the evil nature of governnment, might turn out badly.

welcome to your first lesson in American history.

Your mind is twisted so badly you are not capable of speculating how the founders would judge our world.

Do you know that "the Boston Tea Party" was not a revolution against the crown of England? It was a revolution against the Hudson Bay Company that had gamed the system and managed a Fascist relationship with the crown so Americans were to be taxed for growing and selling tea and other products in competition with Hudson's Bay.

THAT was the birth of the American revolution you fucking dolt. The formation of the ensuing government was left purposefully vague so our country AND government could grow to represent THE PEOPLE..not the interests with the most money and power. In short the "founders" were against fascism before there was such a word. My guess is that the first thing they would do if they came back to reclaim thier purpose would be to yank Roberts and Scalia out of thier chairs and whip them then hang them for the Citizens United decision.

Who is the WE, ed.

...Republicans working with the Chamber of Commerce and China moved millions of jobs to China...
That's so stupid it's crazy.

Anyone who's ever had a job knows that the only jobs that the government creates are government jobs and most jobs are created by businesses. We also know that a job is not something that can be picked up, put in a crate, and "moved" anywhere. I've created jobs when I hired people and when I felt like it I've eliminated jobs. Anyone who doesn't like it can go right ahead and create their own jobs by hiring people.

It's a free country.

The above is an "invite" to a seminar to teach American companies how to "outsource" to China. In other words, "move American jobs to China".

I posted this on the board three years ago.

Now aren't you glad you learned something today?

didn't see that in the Declaration or Constitution?? or think anyone on earth believes it was a revolution against the Hudson Bay Company? Welcome to your first lesson in American history

the few enumerated powers given to the federal government are vague????????????????????

one half wanted the Bill of Rights to protect free speech and the other half was too afraid of government to entrust it with protecting free speech.

Thats not vague thats Republican.

Ed, Huggy has you. That is why you folks are called tea baggers, ed.
The revolution was about not wanting to be ruled by the brit's. Lots of issues, but the primary issues of the day had to do with corporate power, and as Huggy said, the Hudson Bay Company. And importantly, the East India Company.

It was, ed, about corporations controlling government to the detriment of the people. It was specifically about the East India Company getting the british gov to put taxes ONLY on american tea. To the great benefit of the east india corp.

You may want to think about that for a moment, as it has a whole lot to do with todays corps control of the gov, odly enough, fully supported by todays tea party.

I didn't change the subject. You're the one who brought the Bill of Rights in the discussion. And no, supporters of the Constitution didn't want a Bill of Rights to be added. They thought it was unnecessary (or, at least, that's what they said publicly).
