I'm not sure that there is such a thing as a non-political question especially in determining a poitical preferance, but I think that responsibility questions are the most likely to be revealing on this.

That said, personnal responsibility will reveal.

1. Who is responsible to see that your children recieve a good education?
2. Who is capable of accumulating wealth in the USA?
