Liberal talk radio still alive and well!

I don't want the Demcoratic news. I don't want the Republican news.

I just want the news, straight up and spin-free.

I agree with you on this... if I want spin, I know I can get it from talk radio, if I would choose to go that route

But as for news broadcasts... I want spin free... no partisan bias... sadly, this is FAR from the case.. .and we have seen evidence of that many times

Good luck with that. Media is about nothing but ratings ... just get use to it and learn to read.

Ha Ha! Look at the email I just got from Conservativeactionalertsupdates.com

As you know, we've just elected the first true SOCIALIST as President of the United States. That doesn't mean we should run and hide - in fact, it means that we should FIGHT EVEN HARDER against the far left!

But you can be sure of one thing: The radical liberals will do everything in their power to SHUT US DOWN, along with every other conservative voice in America. And they're already telling the world exactly how they're going to do it:

When this rule was dropped in 1987 under Ronald Reagan, it led directly to the rise of conservative talk radio that enabled average citizens to have their voices heard across America. If it weren't for the Reagan administration dropping the "Fairness Doctrine," we would never have heard of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Michael Savage, Michael Reagan, Martha Zoller, Neal Boortz, Janet Folger, or the hundreds of other conservative talk radio hosts that dot the land and expose the lies and misdeeds of the Left.

What a bunch of bullshit! This issue is important. This is how Bush lied us into Iraq. Which of these radio hosts called BS on Bush's wmd lie? None of them? That's why we need the Fairness Doctrine back. Not the old Fairness Doctrine, but something to even the playing field.

The way it is now, does not serve the publics interest. PERIOD!

My God.... it's just incredible.... "Bush lied"....

The WHOLE WORLD knows THAT'S WHAT THE INTELLIGENCE said. NOT BUSH, the INTELLIGENCE. Bush only repeated what the intelligence community had told him, and so did multitudes of LIBERALS, like kerry, and clinton. Even though I don't think we should have invaded Iraq, and I think we should get the hell otta there, I will NOT be part of the moronic donkey shit tale that "Bush lied." That's just one of the most asinine things I've ever heard a liberal say. But you only hear it from uneducated liberals that are puking up the same old, debunked, partisan hack crap from yesteryear.

Kerry is a Dem but not a liberal.

Let me guess, you think all Dems are libs and all Reps are cons?

Don't think we'll have it.. we'll always have the bias of CBS, etc...

Still.. I would love to have de-spinned news... maybe if there is a marketplace, it will come about.... but alas, when you have the bobo's of the world and other vocal wingnuts who crave the spin laden crapola, I guess it is what you get

Let's just say that there's more far left loons in the dem party than there is far right loons in the repub party. That's why the last election made me sick of BOTH parties.

But yes, kerry IS a liberal. He votes liberal, his wife is a liberal, he lies like a liberal, and he looks like a liberal.

We all know that Bush threw out any and all evidence that showed Saddam was not connected to AlQueda and accepted evidence that was shady.

WE KNOW he told the "intelligence" community to go out and find a connection. And anyone who told him there was no connection was dismissed.

PS. All we need to remember is that Chaney tried to lie and say Saddam sent the Anthrax. What evidence did he use? Can we see that evidence?

This is why I believe it was Chaney himself that sent the anthrax. Who got mailed Anthrax? Dashel & Leahy? The two guys stopping the Patriot Act.

A lot of Americans are really really stupid. You being one of them.

Kerry is a Dem but not a liberal.

Republicans like to play it both ways. Remember Clinton? They said he was "the most" liberal. Turned out he was a centrist.

Then they said Kerry was the most liberal.

Then Obama was the most liberal.

Republicans either don't know what they are talking about or they are are liars. I tend to think they are liars.

And Liberal is a good word, so I hope they are all liberals.

"The Fairness Doctrine"

Our founding fathers warned us of corporations getting too powerful. :

our founding fathers warned of government being to big...thats why they did everything in their power to limit it.

IE

Checks and Balances
washington taking only 2 term limits
and giving the power to the people...not the government

well,, you were correct until the last sentence. the founders didn't want the "people" to have power... they wanted aristocratic white MEN to have power....

Our founding fathers ALSO warned about Corporations. Actually, they warned more about corporations than they did government.

And Ron Paul wants to nationalize the Fed Reserve.

Yes. They would have considered Andrew as being the RABBLE.

Then what were the Republicans saying when they said Obama was "the most liberal senator" or "had the most liberal voting record".

I knew they were lying, but I'm glad to hear someone else admit it.

But Obama is a liberal and a democrat. He's just not a flaming one.

NO need for the fairness doctrine, then.

If it is a liberal media like the right wingers say, it'll help them. Right?

Just like they lie about Obama being "the most liberal", they too lie about the media being liberal.

It hasn't been liberal since Clinton deregulated the media in 1996.

God Damn Centrist. That's why Obama shouldn't give in to the GOP one bit. They don't give in to anyone other than the far right, so fuck em.
