Phoenix, Arizona

It is with great excitement and optimism that I announce today the formation of a new progressive talk radio network. The On Second Thought Radio Network will continue to build upon the foundation laid by our predecessors and will work dilligently to fulfill our fiduciary responsibilities to all investors and principals involved. Equally important, we will, with the millions of faithful progressive listeners across the country, uphold our vision to promote freedom, social justice, economic justice and peace worldwide.

Below, please take time to review the bios of our current lineup. We will initially be offering a daily 9 hour block of programming with some of the most entertaining, engaging, experienced and provocative hosts America has to offer. We look forward to adding more talent and innovative products to our network in the near future.

One thing we can assure you is that we will always value the fundamental principle of “We the People” proclaimed by our Founding Fathers. The On Second Thought Radio Network will work tirelessly to hear the voices and honor the commitments of our listeners, affiliates, supporters and advertisers alike. We welcome any and all suggestions as we go through this transition period. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] and continue to check out our web site, On Second Thought Radio Network - The Home of Mike Malloy, Nancy Skinner, and Dr. Mike Newcomb - where we will keep you up to date on the latest and greatest that we hope to offer to you!

Respectfully,

Mike Newcomb, CEO
On Second Thought Radio Network

wonder where they found the airwaves??? I thought the conservatives monopolized them all.. oh well :eusa_whistle:

Sounds like something I'll check out! Lets see what their line up is:
1. Mike Malloy
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

And no one else. Umm, on second thought...

If they can find few people that aren't hate mongering asshats like jeannie, billie, and the junior senator from Minnesota they've got a chance. If they don't they'll go down like ajax.

Ah well.... they'll dick it up royal after they screw the pooch with the fairness doctrine. They'll have to have a conservative on then...

More power to them, if they can find an audience. The problem with Air America was that they couldn't hold an audience. There is nothing wrong with the left having a voice on radio, and if it sells, radio stations will carry their shows.

I don't want the Demcoratic news. I don't want the Republican news.

I just want the news, straight up and spin-free.

I agree with you on this... if I want spin, I know I can get it from talk radio, if I would choose to go that route

But as for news broadcasts... I want spin free... no partisan bias... sadly, this is FAR from the case.. .and we have seen evidence of that many times

Obama's FCC didn't cock block them like the Bush government did.

And you should wonder why they didn't do this when Bush was in office, seeing as how Rush's ratings were the best back when Clinton was in office. With all the crimes the Bush team committed, progressive radio would have been very popular the last 8 years.

And I too wonder what airwaves they are going to get. I hope it is good.

PS. Nancy Skinner SUCKS! She was filling in for Randi Rhodes last week and she made sooooo many mistakes. And she just isn't that good. But I'd listen to her before Hannity, Rush or O'Reilly.

Ha Ha! Look at the email I just got from Conservativeactionalertsupdates.com

As you know, we've just elected the first true SOCIALIST as President of the United States. That doesn't mean we should run and hide - in fact, it means that we should FIGHT EVEN HARDER against the far left!

But you can be sure of one thing: The radical liberals will do everything in their power to SHUT US DOWN, along with every other conservative voice in America. And they're already telling the world exactly how they're going to do it:

When this rule was dropped in 1987 under Ronald Reagan, it led directly to the rise of conservative talk radio that enabled average citizens to have their voices heard across America. If it weren't for the Reagan administration dropping the "Fairness Doctrine," we would never have heard of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Michael Savage, Michael Reagan, Martha Zoller, Neal Boortz, Janet Folger, or the hundreds of other conservative talk radio hosts that dot the land and expose the lies and misdeeds of the Left.

What a bunch of bullshit! This issue is important. This is how Bush lied us into Iraq. Which of these radio hosts called BS on Bush's wmd lie? None of them? That's why we need the Fairness Doctrine back. Not the old Fairness Doctrine, but something to even the playing field.

The way it is now, does not serve the publics interest. PERIOD!

Well you guys need to stop calling stations like NPR liberal, because honestly, they do present the news SPIN FREE.

Sometimes I listen and NPR news and I hear a right wing slant. For example, they might do a piece on how Freddy & Fanny helped cause the mortgage crisis. Or I remember when my buddy, a republican, was speaker of the house in Michigan. They would interview him all the time. Anytime Granholm would do something, they'd ask him his opinion, and he would always slam her.

No lefty radio station would do that. So NPR is fair and balanced.

But you guys consider any show that is fair and balanced to be liberal. And I agree. Because liberal ='s truth.

"The Fairness Doctrine"

The government forcing free enterprise out of business!

Communism.

Obama is going to ruin this nation. He will piss on every grave of any man or woman who served to protect the freedoms of the USA.

Of course Liberal talk radio is alive and well. You know how I know? They keep coming to the internet to tell me that they're alive and well.

I take offense to that. And so when I outlive you, I will seek out your grave and piss on it.

Just like communism, Capitalism has gotten out of control. Did you think Capitalism was pure or divine in some way?

Our founding fathers warned us of corporations getting too powerful. And that my friend, is what is ruining this nation.

Where have you been the last 8 years?

PS. Stop with the "free enterprise" bullshit. They are the public's airwaves, just like the roads. This isn't a free market thing here bucko.

The right has purchased too many licences. It is time to break up the monopoly.

They are hording all the good radio stations in order to brainwash us with NOTHING BUT RIGHT WING talk.

So I know you want them to be able to do that. That's why you guys keep screaming FREE MARKETS!!!

Well just like Bush's FCC ran Howard Stern off the air, we are going to take ONE station away from you guys and give it to the left.

DEAL WITH IT YOU LITTLE BITCH!!!

Is Rush Limpdick, aka The Codeine kid, still ranting and raving about Clinton and Obama....the sky is falling, etc. etc.

My God.... it's just incredible.... "Bush lied"....

The WHOLE WORLD knows THAT'S WHAT THE INTELLIGENCE said. NOT BUSH, the INTELLIGENCE. Bush only repeated what the intelligence community had told him, and so did multitudes of LIBERALS, like kerry, and clinton. Even though I don't think we should have invaded Iraq, and I think we should get the hell otta there, I will NOT be part of the moronic donkey shit tale that "Bush lied." That's just one of the most asinine things I've ever heard a liberal say. But you only hear it from uneducated liberals that are puking up the same old, debunked, partisan hack crap from yesteryear.
