66 Things to Think About When Flying Into Reagan National Airport
by David Corn

The firing of the air traffic controllers, winnable nuclear war, recallable nuclear missiles, trees that cause pollution, Elliott Abrams lying to Congress, ketchup as a vegetable, colluding with Guatemalan thugs, pardons for F.B.I. lawbreakers, voodoo economics, budget deficits, toasts to Ferdinand Marcos, public housing cutbacks, redbaiting the nuclear freeze movement, James Watt.

Getting cozy with Argentine fascist generals, tax credits for segregated schools, disinformation campaigns, "homeless by choice," Manuel Noriega, falling wages, the HUD scandal, air raids on Libya, "constructive engagement" with apartheid South Africa, United States Information Agency blacklists of liberal speakers, attacks on OSHA and workplace safety, the invasion of Grenada, assassination manuals, Nancy's astrologer.

Drug tests, lie detector tests, Fawn Hall, female appointees (8 percent), mining harbors, the S&L scandal, 239 dead U.S. troops in Beirut, Al Haig "in control," silence on AIDS, food-stamp reductions, Debategate, White House shredding, Jonas Savimbi, tax cuts for the rich, "mistakes were made."

Michael Deaver's conviction for influence peddling, Lyn Nofziger's conviction for influence peddling, Caspar Weinberger's five-count indictment, Ed Meese ("You don't have many suspects who are innocent of a crime"), Donald Regan (women don't "understand throw-weights"), education cuts, massacres in El Salvador.

"The bombing begins in five minutes," $640 Pentagon toilet seats, African- American judicial appointees (1.9 percent), Reader's Digest, C.I.A.-sponsored car-bombing in Lebanon (more than eighty civilians killed), 200 officials accused of wrongdoing, William Casey, Iran/contra.

"Facts are stupid things," three-by-five cards, the MX missile, Bitburg, S.D.I., Robert Bork, naps, Teflon.

Menewa, has Bully completed an out of body experience to you?

I don't think so. But I do agree with a lot of his posts.

Well that says so much about you that you are agreeing with someone advocating open rebellion when President Bush wins reelection.

Thomas Jefferson stated that our government would need to be overthrown every 20 years or so to clean house of the corruption that comes inherrently when one group of men holds so much power. He also wrote that when one group (they didn't call them Parties back then) takes control of the White House and Congress, tyranny will surely follow.

Would cleaning house entirely every few years be such a bad thing?

No but thats what elections are for. Cleaning house. If you want to clean house do it legally through grass roots efforts.

Thomas Jefferson died an old dissappointed and indebted man. Dissappointed at the violence and anarchy which went on at the school he founded, eventually resulting in the shooting of a professor, and most likely as he slowly heard news of the cyclical French Revolution.

Read up on the author of my signature. That man sought the same thing you're suggesting. Then it happened to himself.

Yep it would be great to replace the entire US government right in the middle of an attack against our citizens and assests around the world and right here at home.

There is a real provision in the Declaration of Indepndence that addresses this issue.

It reads in part:

Declaration of Independence, paragraph 2

.....But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Fortunately for this period of time, the despots in our government who espouse class warfare are out in all three branches.

Therefore, no need to remove the current administration and the majority in Congress and the Supreme Court....

RIGHT.....

You've got it backwards. The Senate and the White House are being run by arch-criminals. Tom Delay is guilty of gerrymandering and possibly illegal use of PAC funds in Texas. Bill Frist owns the largest hospital chain in the US and is currently paying back millions to government for fraud. As for the White House, you need a bookshelf to list the crimes committed by them. The Supreme Court thankfully is only slightly corrupt.

According to the enemies of the American people, the Senate and George Bush are criminals and using their power to overthrow the Democrat power players. But more importantly these same people are the enemies of Islam because they fear those in power in America and wish with all their black hearts that John Kerry and the other cowards come to power so that the Arabs can destroy this country of freedom. A country free of all Muslim 14th century killers and pedophiles like the prophet Muhammad.

Allah has said in recent interview that "all my Islamic children are worthy of being with me in paradise and should not be allowed ot live on the vile earth with human beings."

Allah has spoken...

You've got it backwards. The Republican Senate and the White House are being run by American patriots. Tom Delay is guilty of being the arch enemy of those who wish the destruction of freedom and justice and possibly even the legal use of funds to end the tyranny of class warfare and the Muslim enemy within our borders. Lies have been circulated against Speaker Bill Frist who gives of his own skills freely to the downtrodden infidels of Africa. Dr. Frist is a true American patriot and humanitarian. As for the White House, you need a bookshelf to list the number of Al-Quaida that have been lost to the cause of world Islamc conquest. The Supreme Court thankfully is the highest court that prevents Islamic conquest and destruction of America and its citizens.
