It is an inconvenient fact that the 111th Congress passed legislation that were supposed to promote economic growth and job creation.

The House has a plan, the Senate's got bupkis. Seems to me the president oughta have his own plan with some general details for where he wants to take the country. At least on the major issues, we oughta know where he stands, what he wants to do, and how he wants to accomplish it. Not some vague ideas but specific goals and strategies for reaching them. I think he's trying to avoid losing ground with anybody and as a result is losing ground with everybody.

Actually, you go by budget. Obama was sworn in at the end of Jan. But the Bush budget was until the end of Oct.

So at the end of Clinton's last budget, the Unemployment rate was 5.7%
At the end of Bush's last budget, the Unemployment rate was 10.1%

The economy doesn't tank on the very day someone is sworn in and it's their fault. Only a 'tard would think that. Economies have momentum. It takes time to ruin one. Years in fact. It also takes years to fix it.
