The State is run by a bunch of absolute idiots who have no knowledge of science, economics or child welfare issues. They seem to revolve around the finger of the elite gay state senators and representatives who hold the power there.

Their agriculture is vital, yet they can't manage their water properly to save their lives. Legal pot can't tap an already rock-bottom water supply. So that will move to the Midwest when, ironically, CA lobbiests urge Congress to make pot federally legal across the country; so they have a prayer at making money off a flooded (pardon the pun) market that water will shut them out of.

Their continued policy of medical and financial aide to illegal immigrants leaves their own taxed and legitimate hard working citizens without access to even basic good healthcare.

They've decriminalized all drugs in their penal system where a serious heroin epidemic is raging like the wildfires they can't control. Heroin addicts like California because they all become quickly indigent. And when they get caught with or on drugs the burglaries and such they've committed to support their habit are watered down because of the drug charges: so they are released back to re-offend over and over and over. The heroin epidemic fueled of course by Mexico's adaptation to legal weed's plummeting prices so they can still import a black market economy for themselves...all while getting CA to give medical coverage to their Nationals who keep sneaking across the borders with the heroin mule trains...

Homeless like drugs, so the homelessness wildfire is fueled by CA's lax policies on punishment for drug offenders. Naturally, with all the rich homes and cars, a heroin addict/homeless person has an easy job of finding things at night to hawk to fences to keep their addiction going. That and the nice weather make it a homeless mecca. More indigents to care for sucking off a shrinking economy.

Meanwhile lesbians there are drugging a boy to coerce him into chopping his dick off. Kids in school now have to learn deviant sex identities as early as grade school; which is illegal federally to do to kids at that age. People there can have their gender legally changed when it never actually is. Motherless/fatherless marriages (gay marriage) was an idea conceived (pardon the irony and the pun) in CA, where gay marriage was voted down consistently and still remains illegal in the Constitution there. All made possible by one gay judge from San Franfreakshow who wanted to marry his boyfriend, declaring as the beginning of a snowball appellate process, that Prop 8 wasn't Constitutional and therefore not the governing law. But it isn't Constitutional and it is still the governing law. (fast forward to 2015 and this little trick turns into a motherless/fatherless marriage mandate for all 50 states against their wishes...still think you can ignore CA's malfeasance/tyranny?)

People want to govern themselves in CA in a way that makes sense. But the idiots running the shitshow won't let them. They keep ramrodding insane bills based on ?? lunacy? whims? certainly not on scientific advising, nor inclusive social recommendations. Absolutely not on economics. Nor on child-welfare studies and massive data. It literally is a fascist state at this point. And the fascists themselves don't even know their own end game. It's like they're playing a perpetual game of craps on the interstate, hoping they won't get mowed down somehow.

They can't see past the day into tomorrow to carve one policy that actually makes fiscal or social sense. It's a shit-show.

It's just a mess. I mean it's not just a figure of speech or a derogatory comment because people like to beat up California. It's actually more like on the brink of a stark national security disaster. CA's well being is the well being of the US in part. In short, the US cannot afford a bankrupt CA and it will send the rest of the country into upheaval. Something needs to be done.

What exactly has Trump done about CA's miscalculations on "making a fortune off of legal pot while encouraging heroin imports because of the fallout!" (federally illegal violation of Schedule 1 prohibited narcotics trade enticement across state boundaries) and "It's OK for lesbians to drug a boy to chop his dick off" (federally illegal child abuse) and "It's OK to provide sanctuaries for and fund illegal aliens" (federally illegal violation of INS statutes)?

Haven't seen nary an action on any of those fronts and they are all three serious threats to national security and movable crimes where the fed could crack down immediately.
