Yes, because to claim it's Obama's fault requires believing the deficit would be lower today is McCain had been elected.
It most certainly would have been lower. McCain wouldn't have rammed Obamacare down our throats, he wouldn't have signed the porkulus boondoggle, and he wouldn't be trying to regulate the fossil fuel industry into extinction.
