Letters of Note: Kurt Vonnegut

Ah, excellent find. You can really see the autobiographical bits of Slaughterhouse-Five got inspired from, although I think it was already to assume everything besides the time travel and Tralfamadorians was heavily drawn from Vonnegut's own life. What's even more interesting about this letter than the muse for the book is Vonnegut's sarcastic and snarky voice shows through in some places, looking like the author we're more familiar with.

An excellent find to be sure, the letters of writers are always interesting. They can show some great insight into how they were as writers and people. I've got a book of the collected and translated letters of Rimbaud coming in the next few days, and I can't wait for it to come in.

"I've too damned much to say"......

One can't ask for a better muse than that.
