Look, to the extent that anyone wants to do harm to people based on race or ethnic, I oppose them.

But to the extent that they want to have a place in the world where they are comfortably unchallenged by other ethnics competing with theirs?

I am somewhat sympathetic to that human need to feel like you are a member of a community which you feel a part of and understand.

Having never had one of those (unless I invented it, and even then its value systems ended at my property line..at best!) I can sympathize with every other ethnic or group who feels like the dominant culture is oppressing them.

I can, even indentify with and feel some empathy with their complaints if they hate me and my value system entirely.

Hence, I suppose, this attitude of mine makes me a liberal or some sort or the other.

Problem from my perspective is this: if whites want this place, we're "white supremacists," "racists" and "neo-Nazis." If anyone else does, well, that's just peachy-keen.

And this: if whites merely want to SEPARATE from other groups, that actually counts as "wanting to do harm" to them. Blacks, for instance, say it's "racist" for whites to want to live apart from them or go to school with them. So we're stuck supporting blacks with welfare, etc. because to cut them off would be to "harm" them. Obviously, I don't see it that way -- if blacks are "equal" to whites, they wouldn't need our help with every little thing.

I've had years and years of experience having to deal with racists of one kind or the other.

There's all kinds of that racist/ethnocentric breed in all races.

Far as I can tell every race I have ever come to know well has some members with that disease, in fact.

And since I have been in recovery from my own racism-based illness for decades, now, I'm inclined to believe that there's a hope of recovery for even those racists I've met who were as crazy as shit-house bats.

Even you deserve to be heard, and where possible, to taken seriously, William.

I chose WJ because when I signed up for USMB in New York, I discovered I lived about a block from where he did in Brooklyn, before returning to the UK. That was just irresistably cool. I know -- Nazi stuff is a big turnoff for most normal people, and I constantly lecture against swastika infatuation for anyone hoping to get our message across. I am not obsessed with Nazis and I probably have a life that looks more like jillian's than an actual member of the KKK. But, he's been my avatar for years and changing now would throw everyone. Besides, most folks have no idea who "William Joyce" is or was, so it's not like I signed up as, well, Adolf Hitler.

And yes, I do start threads about Jewish troublemakers. It's part of my job here. Feel free to start threads about all the evil doings of white gentiles. I just can't really make my case without pointing out that besides the white right to direct our destiny, there are big drawbacks that come from living in a country where Jews run the show and where armies of blacks and Hispanics carry on as they do. Because... there are. Notice how nice it is Maine? It's 99 percent white. Notice how shitty it is in South Central? It's mostly black. Latitude has little to do with it.

I -- and I hope you -- am on a journey for truth. Nazis and the KKK can be checked off as weird, yes, but beyond that weirdness is a pretty unshakeable truth: races are different. And they don't get along. And forcing that to happen usually screws whites. We gotta wake up to that, is all I'm saying.
