I had a novel idea and wanted to see what objections and criticism ya'll could apply to it after you had a chance to chew on it.
Spose we applied a progressive income tax? The younger you are the lower your rate of tax, the older you become the more your rate of tax increases. Finally when you die the government takes it all.
What are your objections? How will this play out in practice? What rates of tax at what ages seem most practical?
