Um... you do realize that this will increase wages. Are you against increasing wages?

Why would it increase wages? That’s so dumb. It’s not like businesses individually aren’t going to say “well, the illegals are gone. I’m going to pay more out of the generosity of my own heart.”

No one pays more money out of the generosity of their hearts. Only people on the left-wing ever say anything like that.

The reason wages will rise, is because of the reason all wages rise. Supply and Demands.

If the demand for no-skill labor remains the same (and we would have to assume that it would stay the same).... and the supply of no-skill labor decreases, such as all the no-skill labor illegals leave the country..... then supply goes down, demand stays the same, price goes up.

This is basic economics 101.

Take Denmark for example. Norway has tight controls on immigration. As a result, because their people works to improve their skills and education, the supply of low-skill / no-skill labor in Denmark is exceptionally low.

This is why a McDonald's worker earns $16/hour. It's not because of Unions. McDonald's workers are not unionized (contrary to the claims of ignorant people). It's not because of minimum wage laws. Denmark has no minimum wage. And it wasn't because the same CEO of McDonalds is magically generous in Denmark.

It's because of supply and demand. The supply of no-skill low-skill labor is very low, and they have a demand for that labor. So they have to pay a wage that will attract workers.

It is no more complicated than that.
