Let's list the many ways Republicans help American children after they are born

Ok, I'll answer this absurd thread, just to show how bizarre it is. Here are some ways Republicans help kids after they're born:

Republicans helped pass and have long supported the CHIP/SCHIP program, a federal program that provides health insurance for children. Sen. Hatch (R-Utah) co-sponsored the first bill, and the GOP-controlled Congress reauthorized the program and increased its funding every year under Bush.

Republicans give more to charities than do Democrats. Google it.

Tens of thousands of Republicans around the country are foster parents.

Thousands of Republicans adopt children each year.

Republicans are by far the biggest backer of the American Heritage Girls, a wonderful faith-based alternative to the Girl Scouts. (Two of my daughters were members of the group.)

Republicans donate time and money to groups that try to persuade women who are considering abortion to go ahead and have the baby--and these groups then help place the baby up for adoption, if the mother desires.

Republicans donate heavily to Shriner's Children Hospital.

Republican couples divorce less frequently and thus provide a more stable home for children. The stats are undeniably clear that children raised in traditional two-parent homes stand a much better chance of being successful and avoiding serious life problems (like jail) than do children raised by single parents (see, for example, the relevant links on the following page: Homosexuality and Same-Sex Marriage ).

Hundreds of thousands of Republican parents volunteer to help with their kids' school activities each year.

Republicans support school choice and charter schools, which have enabled hundreds of thousands of kids to attend better schools.

And on and on and on I could go.

Yea, do go on. There are a couple of things we could start with for review once you are finished. For one, you applaud the Family Research Institute among the positive things Republicans have done. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

Family Research Institute Applauds Uganda Anti-Gay Bill, Calls Homosexuality Worse Than Murder

Republicans want to teach the worst kind of hate to children and they want to make sure it scars the world:

44 - Palin Slashed Funding for Teen Moms

That's Sarah Palin cutting funding for unwed mothers to be. Very popular among Republicans. You know her position supports the GOP majority position.

About GOP giving, Republicans tend to do most of their "giving" to religion and charities. Two of the biggest scams in the nation.

The Worst Charities in a Nation of Givers

The 50 worst charities in America devote less than 4% of donations raised to direct cash aid. Some charities gave even less. Over a decade, one diabetes charity raised nearly $14 million and gave about $10,000 to patients. Six spent no cash at all on their cause.

--------------

Republicans don't even know what their leaders stand for. We know they don't bother to research Peter Popoff or any other ridiculous tele preacher. You know they don't bother to find out if Fox is telling the truth. I suspect they are the major givers of Charitable donations.

--------------
So while Republicans may give twice as much to charity as Democrats or Europeans, their math is fuzzy. Many of the “welfare states” in Western Europe address problems of poverty, education, and health care by giving the government primary responsibility for providing appropriate remedies. So, while many Americans may think that it is admirable of the country to give a great deal to charity; they might think twice about how much it really addresses fundamental needs. Fortunately there are other approaches, and they are available on a planet near you.

Republicans are more charitable than Democrats and Europeans

----------------------------------

So while Republicans puff themselves up on how much they support scams and lies, what is it exactly they are doing FOR the country and FOR children. Where are their metrics.
You can say Red States have the lowest rates of unemployment, but the picture becomes tarnished when you say they also have the greatest number of those getting minimum wage, without health care, without benefits and so on.
And we know that's easily proven. The data has been posted many times.

PS

I still can't believe you referenced an agency with the most misleading name, the Family Research Institute. You know those people are both insane and crazy.

Republicans will point to the "Goodness and wellness" center whose real policy is let him die and say see, we love goodness and wellness. As long as it has a name they like.

So the Family Research Institute, a group of rabid right wingers who do no research and wants gays dead must be good. After all, they are named "Family Research".

I think a better question for this topic is, what have Democrats done for children outside of taking other people's money and funding it to buy votes?

When people start threads about how Republicans work to protect the fetus, but do nothing for the born, USMB Republicans become outraged. They insist that's not true. Someone just explained how they support alternate schools in DC. Someone else said they gave some poor kids a "charity basket" with canned goods and blankets.

Please, USMB Republicans, explain the many ways Republicans help children after they born. We are very interested.
I pay taxes. And I don't kill babies before they are born.

So far you have lied so much in this thread that nothing you post is credible.

Republicans take care of children and so do Democrats. So got anything else to say other than lying and being stupid?

Need a hankey??

Libtards are very confused about this like they are confused about a great many other things.

If you save a child from drowning are you responsible for the welfare of the child for the rest of its life? Of course you are not. It is the responsibility of the parents of the child to provide the welfare.

If you save a child from being slaughter in an abortion clinic are you responsible for the welfare of the child for the rest of its life? Of course you are not. It is the responsibility of the parents of the child to provide the welfare.

Simple moral clarity that always seem to escape these stupid uneducated low information Moon Bats.

Pro life means taking care of the child after it is born and if that means we all pay more taxes to make it happen then so be it.

If we are indeed a christian nation and are pro life then if we encourage a young mother to not have an abortion, we back her monetarily.
