when it happens to me, its usually a bullhead the size of your thumb, not only does he get the bait, he swallows the friggin hook! Little bastards

the only thing I have found that eats lil bullheads is bigger bullheads...and bullheads arent much good. less you get a five gallon bucket of em before the water turns warm.
