Each of these thought leaders and icons of The Left believed in guns. They all were enameled with the power that a gun provided over a person or people without a gun. The power of the gun could be used and in many cases was used against anyone whose thoughts or ideas conflicted with those of these leaders. Che used guns to eliminate those that stood on his way (" the ends justify the means").

All of these icons spoke of fairness, equality, and redistribution on the economic and political/community organizing sense. Ironic that the NRA actually achieves fairness, equality, and redistribution of power in its pursuit and protection of The 2nd Amendment.

The difference is that they believed in the power of the gun when such power was exclusive to the government, and more importantly to the party.

Communists preach power of the people, but to them it is a power to be wielded only by CERTAIN people.

The Left's fascination with the power of a gun aside, I am really concerned about ceding that power over to unlawful gun holders or gun owners. All of the recent tragedies involving gun violence were conducted by unlawful gun users. Taking rights away from law abiding gun owners will only empower the Lanzas and Loughners of the World.

You guys think this shit still floats 20 years after you "won" the Cold War?

(Which is to say, it took Corporatism a whole 20 years longer than Communism to fail miserably.)
