You gotta wonder when this crowd is going to get the idea that everything they think is wrong. Every policy they enact will have the opposite effect. "Cap n tax" will result in more carbon in the air, not less. And this POS legislation to stop companies from moving out of the U.S. will have the precise opposite effect.
Now we'll hear from those who cannot think beyond Stage One that the Dems are for keeping jobs here and the GOP for sending them off shore. Countdown.....

I have an idea...

These fucking greedy and lazy Americans 'workers' should be willing to work for $2.46 a day. Indonesian workers do.

If that doesn't work, then these America slugs should lower their greed-filled demands to $1.75 a day. Chinese workers are happy to make that.

AND, If that doesn't work, then these America money pigs should lower their greed-filled demands $1.60 a day. Vietnamese worker would kill for China's rates.

if the middle class would just quit being greedy and compete with Bangladesh for wages the whole country would be so much better off!

It just shows that America will NEVER compete for jobs. Maybe if we send Rabbit brain and his Monica Lewinskys for the rich over to lick their assholes, we can save the poor babies from investing corporate expenditures on toilet paper.

Can't comment intelligently on the post so you write stupidity. Why am I not surprised?

well, what do you expect? You think legislators who havent worked a day in their life have any clue how to create jobs?

if everyone was poorer we'd be so much richer!

Do the people opposing this have any idea what's in it? Is it a bad idea to quit providing subsidies for people to shut down plants and move them overseas? Or should we continue to give tax breaks to people for closing a site here and moving it to Bangladesh?

Is it wrong to reduce the tax burden for those that hire American workers over foreign ones?

Not everyone, just the "other guy".

Lower wages mean lower cost of doing business and lower products. It means people can afford more labor for more projects so people will be employed. Teens will be able to get experience working as well.

If it wasnt so devastating to so many people. It would be amusing. Politicians creating a problem by artificially raising costs, which of course artificially raises prices. Then they feign outrage to discover that things are getting worse and pledge to "fix" that with more stupid solutions that caused the problems to begin with.

And no one bothers to think about this.

That sounds like a fine argument for export-led growth, but the US is almost a century beyond that. Unlike developing countries with very low wages, we can not rely on export demand. The wealthiest customers of US businesses are their fellow citizens.

Did you actually read the editorial to see what's being proposed? Are you clueless here or just ignorant?

Here's a crazy idea, Rabbi: Instead of reading a rightwing editorial about the proposal, I reviewed the components of the proposal itself.

I know it's hard for a dittohead Foxviewer to understand, but all of your information does not need to come from people telling you what to think. If you rely on editorials for news, you just might end up "clueless or just ignorant"....or both.

So companies that send jobs overseas should not be punished but rather rewarded to give greedy, over-paid American workers a lesson in humility.

Taxing overseas profits as Obama is proposing is a remarkably stupid idea. America is a funny place sometimes. It is one of the few nations that thinks it has the right to tax outside it's jurisdiction.

Instead they should cut the corporate tax rate and allow firms to repatriate profits tax free. Money sitting overseas creates exactly zero jobs at home.

There is a LOT more to the proposal than attempting to tax overseas profits.

This is a phony lick the rich's ass argument. Why is it you right wing 'free market' pea brains have NO understanding OF the market? IF a corporation or business could raise their prices...THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY INCREASED THEIR PRICES. But the market will not LET THEM.

So the correct answer was "both". You are ignorant because you didnt bother to read the editorial and stupid because you think you can read a complex proposal on corporate taxation and understand all the implications.
Thanks for clearing that up.

If you don't want companies sending jobs overseas you need to oppose the administration's proposal.
Or did you miss that?

Well, at least you admit you do nothing but collect rightwing information from rightwing editorials.

You, sir, are a Great American!
