Legalize it!

I'm completely pro-legalization of marijuana.

I'm for the government staying the hell out of consensual activity between adults. I don't care if you smoke cannabis or choose to shoot gasoline into your vein. If you're not hurting anyone else nor taking what doesn't belong to you, it's nobody else's business.

Yes bath salts sold at the convenience store is an example of great it can be.

Just think if you could get some crystal methamphetamine with your loaf of bread and lottery tickets.

Amsterdam has become a pit of filth and criminality. They will soon have to clean it back up. Legalizing all drugs is a magnet to addicts and criminals.

Amsterdam is desperately trying to ban tourism based on this. I don't know if they've been able to pull it off though.

Amsterdam was not trying to ban it, it was the right wing government that came into power briefly. Amsterdam fought the ban, and won.

You can. There's a dealer nearby. There always is. Despite the laws. Shocking, I know.

Criminal activity should involve infringing on the rights of others. If you're not doing that, I couldn't care two shits what you put into your body.

Better Living Thru Chemistry!!

"They called 911 after they realized she had "done something," some drug, said her stepfather. The Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed they visited the house but declined to provide details.

When paramedics arrived, they restrained her and rushed her to a Houston-area hospital, where she was admitted to the ICU.

She bit guardrails and attempted to bite those trying to help her. Hospital staff strapped Emily down in the bed, said her sister.

"We thought once she comes down off the drug, we'd take her home and show her the dangers of this drug," said the 22-year-old. "We didn't think it was as big of a deal until 24 hours later she was still violent and hurting herself. We realized you're not supposed to stay high this long."

To keep Emily safe, doctors put her in an induced coma.

After days in the sedated state, an MRI revealed she had suffered several severe strokes, said Bryant.

"In four days' time, we went from thinking everything is going to be OK and we'll put her in drug rehabilitation to now you don't know if she's going to make it," he said."
Whew!!!!!

At LEAST she wasn't smokin' POT!!!!

Look at the downturn in our society since pot smoking began to be socially acceptable in the 60's.

As recently as WW2, pot was legal.
Actually......pot was made illegal in 1937.

Gee...who KNEW Europeans could be such capitali$t$??!!!!

That's not what Porky Limbaugh says!!!!!

Just legalize the damn thing. I'm sick and tired of wasting money on preventing pot use. The government's been trying to eliminate the stuff for nearly 70 years now and they've barely made a dent. I say we legalize it and regulate use.

:cuckoo:Yeah for sure. Go ahead and legalize it. Suprise...one thing though you wont be able to regulate its use though. So take cover.

I'm completely pro-legalization of marijuana. The gov. could step in and sell pot making huge amounts of rev. in taxes, which can help pay off our debt. We'll also save millions by not having to fight the drug dealers and lock up men and women who sell the drug. Pot is medically useful and much less dangerous than alcohol.

Why haven't we legalized this drug yet?

Big brother is making too much money putting folks in jail so the state can pay private prisons to house them all. Police departments are funded in part by conficated property seized as part of the drug war. Big Pharmacys cannot patient THC. Hemp clothing is 4 times a durable as Cotton. Can't have long lasting clothes in our throw away society. Paper mills uses trees for pulp and paper. No need for competition from an anual crop........oh here the Herer. The Book « JackHerer.com

It's a weird message to send kids after years of encouraging them to do without, pot dulls a persons' brain as K pointed out, and I still think it serves to feed criminals enough to keep them away from engaging in other crimes. Anyone can get pot anytime they want and possession fines have dwindled to next to nothing . Big time dealers get caught in the same nets set to catch large shipments of pot and knowing the government like I do, any savings from the war on pot will be wasted somewhere else.

The reason to legalize. It would take out the 'dealers' altogether, slamming the door on making it a 'gateway' drug.

:eusa_whistle:And increasing the use of it. Not only by the user but by our own kids. Being easier to get it will increase crime.
