Left wing racists force white owners of restaurant to close...because they cook Mexican food....

This shit has got to stop. SJWs are learning this "cultural appropriation" shit from publically funded universities. It is time to pull ALL funding from these institutions.

The racism of left winger is never ending....these racists decided that whites can't make Mexican food....so they put them out of business......this is racism....and it is what the left wing/democrats are all about....using race as a weapon and a spear...to attack their enemies, and to hide their own crimes...

White Restaurant Owners Served Burritos, So SJWs Forced Them Out Of Business

The leftist snowflakes have enacted their own brand of social justice on white-owned businesses serving up all things ethnic, from burritos to kung-pao chicken. Scalps have been taken, with one restaurant shutting down as a result of their merciless trolling on social media. They care little about destroying another person's livelihood.

According to Heat Street, "Kali Wilgus and Liz 'LC' Connelly, owners of Portland pop-up shop Kooks Burritos, just wanted to make and sell some really great burritos. So when they were on a trip to Puerto Nuevo, Mexico, they “picked the brains” of the local tortilla ladies and brought those recipes back to the States."

In an interview with Willamette Weekly, Connelly described their fascination with tortilla making when visiting Mexico. Notice the white supremacy lurking between the lines.

“I picked the brains of every tortilla lady there in the worst broken Spanish ever, and they showed me a little of what they did,” Connelly told Willamette Weekly. “They told us the basic ingredients, and we saw them moving and stretching the dough similar to how pizza makers do before rolling it out with rolling pins. They wouldn’t tell us too much about technique, but we were peeking into the windows of every kitchen, totally fascinated by how easy they made it look. We learned quickly it isn’t quite that easy.”

Hateful! Just hateful. Her statements then launched a maelstrom of trolling on the internet, accusing them of "cultural appropriation," sentencing Kooks Burritos to death.

The SJW inquisitors did not stop there and have taken their mob mentality to the streets, targetting other white-owned businesses guilty of the same crime. A list has now been circulating on the web of white-owned “appropriative” businesses, featuring some of Portland’s top restaurants. They will soon feel the wrath of snowflake. From Reason:

Yea this free country doesn't sound so free any more. I take it hispanics can't make burgers at their restaurant then? Is it now wrong for a black family to have taco night.

To those who support SJWs shutting these people down, would it be ok to shut them down if they were black? Asian? Middle eastern?

Now I live and work in Portland, Oregon. And have eaten off many of these food wagons. Several different cuisines from different nations. And, more often than not, the people selling and cooking the food were of a different ethnicity than the food. Never seemed to bother anyone if the food was good. I think that there is more to the story. Cannot believe that some looney tunes blog would change the minds of people that like good food here.

These food wagons rapidly go out of business if their food does not meet the quality of the competition. And that quality is quite high here in Portland.

I don't think you understand how disconnected, the younger generation is. They're going after hair styles as "cultural appropriation"

Probably as many older people buy off these wagons as young people. And it is the quality of food that determines their failure or success.

And the funny thing...Starbucks did the same thing but with Coffee..the founder was in Italy and wanted to recreate the experience he had there.......

Maybe that is why the left hates Starbucks...

I don't drink Starbucks because their coffee tastes like it was left in the pot overnight. The only coffee chain I really like is Second Cup. I prefer one-off independent shops.

As a Canadian I'm supposed to love Tim Hortons coffee, known as "Timmies" here. Their coffee is meh but I love their sandwiches and donuts, especially Timbits.

They were selling the food on Ceasar Chavez Blvd.

Is it appropriate to name a street after a Hispanic when the asphalt was invented by a man who immigrated here from Belgium?

Looks like the market has spoken.

Isn't that capitalism?

Ayup! And the market can be fickle.

Maybe the OP is suggesting we pass a law preventing the SJWs from talking to people.

And is it wrong for us to take issue over the reasons these SJWs decided that it's wrong for whites to make burritos? Is it wrong to think the ousting of Eich (Firefox) because of his position on gay marriage, was totally inappropriate?

Sure there was no "force" or "policy", that ran these girls out of business...the real issue is SJWs squashing diversity, "Mexicans can only make burritos." Wanting to shut down other people's voice, business, whatever, when we should be voting and promoting freedom. THIS IS NOT FREEDOM, SJWs do NOT want nor BELIEVE in actual freedom. Not of speech, or conscious, beliefs, or religion.

40% of Millennials OK with limiting speech offensive to minorities

Poll: 51% of Democrats support criminalizing hate speech - Hot Air

LOOK at these articles, this is a very bad direction we are taking. Also ask yourself, what constitutes hate speech these days? The term hate speech has gotten immensely broader. This is the issue we are taking up with the social justice warriors in this situation. The fact that they do not believe in basic freedoms, to the point where they believe MAKING FOOD IS STRICTLY BASED ON SKIN COLOR!!!! This is straight up RACIST!! And these people are voting to have this agenda done. Get your head out of the sand and recognize this problem, we should together (left and right) shame these reincarnated puritans the same way they shamed these white girls out of business, something that they probably made a big financial risk to undertake and now are SOL. These SJWs are our new puritans.

Laughable, asinine thread started by an asinine poster and supported by asinine rightwing nutjobs who don't know how to think.
good thing we have liberals here who are more than willing to tell people what, and how, to think.

No, not at all.

I have to agree with the last part. Most of the lefties I talk to either don't understand freedom, or fear it. But the same goes for most conservatives I talk to. And FREEDOM is exactly what this is. You have every right to complain about it, but no one's freedom is being violated.

Well I think there is a case for liable & slander, and in that case, yes freedoms were violated. Being a con artist is punishable since you are technically stealing from people, which is infringing on their property rights, there is no 1st amendment protecting people who use the first to infringe on others rights. Is it wrong to make and sell Mexican food as a non-Mexican? No not at all. Is it wrong to cause harm to defame a business who does so in order to effect their lively Hood, yes it is wrong. This does not make it wrong to be against non Mexicans making Mexican food, but when you take it to the level of publicly trying to shut down someone else's business...I think that's moving into slander and liable.
