Here we have a story about Mexico having only one gun store, but horrendous levels of gun crime...then they go on and lie that most of the guns come from the U.S....this is not true. What they fail to tell you is those guns they list, are only the guns they can actually trace because they come from the U.S....

This is also the lie that obama tried to use through his Fast and Furious program to get illegal guns into the hands of drug cartels, so that they would show up at Mexican crime scenes...so he could restart the gun control push...

There is only one gun store in all of Mexico. So why is gun violence soaring?

And the truth.....

Mexico's Gun Supply and the 90 Percent Myth

This means that the 87 percent figure relates to the number of weapons submitted by the Mexican government to the ATF that could be successfully traced and not from the total number of weapons seized by Mexican authorities or even from the total number of weapons submitted to the ATF for tracing. In fact, the 3,480 guns positively traced to the United States equals less than 12 percent of the total arms seized in Mexico in 2008 and less than 48 percent of all those submitted by the Mexican government to the ATF for tracing.

This means that almost 90 percent of the guns seized in Mexico in 2008 were not traced back to the United States.

Mexico’s gun control laws: A model for the United States?

Whatever the exact percentage, it is incorrect to assert that purchases from American gun stores for the purposes of smuggling into Mexico are the prime source of American guns in Mexico. To the contrary, of the Mexican guns that are successfully traced to the U.S., the average firearms age is fifteen years, according to data compiled by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives. The age of these guns is strong evidence that they were legal American guns that were stolen and then sold into the black market–and not guns which were bought at a gun store as part of a plan for them to be immediately transported to Mexico.

Keep in mind.....Mexico strictly controls access to guns....as reported in the story, but their drug cartels, with their police and military allies easily get fully automatic military weapons which they use to murder Mexican citizens...unarmed Mexican citizens...

The only gun shop in all of Mexico is behind a fortress-like wall on a heavily guarded military base.

To enter the Directorate of Arms and Munitions Sales, customers must undergo months of background checks — six documents are required — and then be frisked by uniformed soldiers.

The army-run store on the outskirts of Mexico City embodies the country's cautious approach to firearms, and a visit here illustrates the dramatically different ways two neighboring countries view guns, legally and culturally.

And how many murders are there in gun free Mexico? And keep in mind...these are murders, not suicides....American anti gunners always lie and put suicides in with gun murder to inflate our number....in Mexico..these are murders with guns, by drug cartels with their police and military allies...

Mexico Registers Its Highest Number Of Homicides On Record

Mexico recorded 29,168 homicides last year, according to preliminary government data published this week. While the tally won't be finalized for several months, security experts are already certain the 2017 figure will mark the country's highest murder rate at least since official statistics began in 1997 — and potentially the highest in the nation's modern history.
