I can't see them having won on religious grounds. The article clearly notes it was a political protest. All the same that is also protected speech and they would have won on that.

Good to hear. The city should actually be prosecuted for their illegal arrests.
First of all, "flattening the curve" with masks was foolish and inappropriate for covid, according to all the science available.
Second is that not once has there been any case of outdoor transmission of covid, so requiring masks outdoors is stupid.
Third is that whether or not a religious group wants to get covid or not is totally up to them and no one else gets any say. Herd immunity was the correct and logical strategy to use.
