Thirty years ago this week, the Israeli army crossed into Lebanon and started the most stupid war in Israel's history. It lasted for 18 years. About 1500 Israeli soldiers and untold numbers of Lebanese and Palestinians were killed.

Almost all wars are based on lies. Lies are considered legitimate instruments of war. Lebanon War I (as it was later called) was a glorious example.

From beginning to end (if it has ended yet) it was a war of deceit and deception, falsehoods and fabrications.

The lies started with the official name: “Operation Peace in Galilee”.

Ironically, Osama bin Laden released a video stating that he got the idea of attacking the Twin Towers in NYC while viewing Israeli planes leveling civilian towers in the Beruit war.

Our biased support for Israel and made in the USA bombs have made us targets and the reciepients of 9/11.

Osama bin Laden was a deranged madman who haughtily went into the poorest nation in the world--Afghanistan, promised barely literate people a far better life in the next world than this one, complete with amenities better than the best people of this world have, put weapons in their hands to train for missions against "devils," called those "devils" Israel and America, brainwashed them a few years, then sent them out to do whatever he told him. It pleased him to destroy America's World Trade Center, because his trade holdings suffered losses to American competitors.

He was all about revenge and money, and using "the little people" to achieve his every satisfaction in life. Lebanon was bin Laden's "excuse" for having American civilians murdered in cold blood and in as many masses as he could pull off.

Israel was incidental to his larger target--the USA.
