Proof of the superiority of the late 50s, early 60s (best era in American history) - to today.

LITB would be laughed off the stage today.............

They had some pretty racy stuff on that show! I can't believe they would let some of the lines June Cleaver said on the air.

For instance the show where June came down stairs in the morning and said;

"Ward you were pretty tough on the beaver last night?"

Talk about XXX adult dialogue!

You smucks are clueless to the goodness of the 50s and early 60s

When Eddie Haskell is the bad guy ..................

You know these are goodtimes.

I remember in grade school when kids where sent out side the class for minor infractions like chewing gum in class...

no lie...........................

The original The Fly in 1957 starring David Hedison and Vincent Price was better than the crappy remake.

In the show where Wally ad his friends join the Boy Scouts they state they are 12 years old (since they were joining the Boy Scouts) and in 8th grade. Most 12 year olds are in 6th or 7th grade. Grammar Schools were usually 1st to 8th grade. Was the age just so he would so much older then Beaver or was it so that it made since for him to be starting as a Boy Scout?
