Really bad sign for Democrats. Early voting is one of the few things they're good at.

The official report is due out in a few hours.

Early voting is usually a good indicator as those with the strongest opinions tend to get out first.
The Dems are toast. Only a question of how much.

I think there will be a big move against Dems at the last minute. Perhaps Monday or not till Tuesday but you can sense the momentum coming.

Nothing is going to change except the names...
What was it that had altered in the faces of the pigs? Clover's old dim eyes
flitted from one face to another. Some of them had five chins, some had four,
some had three. But what was it that seemed to be melting and changing?
Then, the applause having come to an end, the company took up their cards
and continued the game that had been interrupted, and the animals crept silently
away.

But they had not gone twenty yards when they stopped short. An uproar of
voices was coming from the farmhouse. They rushed back and looked through
the window again. Yes, a violent quarrel was in progress. There were shoutings,
bangings on the table, sharp suspicious glances, furious denials. The source of
the trouble appeared to be that Napoleon and Mr. Pilkington had each played
an ace of spades simultaneously.

Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. No question,
now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked
from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already
it was impossible to say which was which.

Great, so stay home and just whine about things.

I saw an article out of Kansas stating that as well, for there.

I don't like early voting, personally, with the fact they actually tabulate who is showing up, because that just gives an idea of how to stuff the ballot boxes.

Ah yes. The excuses come out:
-It was gerrymandering
-It was vote suppression among minorities
-It wasnt significant
-At the point what difference does it make?
-It is really a defeat for the GOP.

Has to be one of the most stupid threads I've ever seen.
GOP has 10% lead in what state.

If OP is trying to refer to "nationally," I certainly hope he/she realizes that there are only local and state candidates running.

As for the election...there are more DEM seats up for grabs than GOP seats with 3 or 4 retirements by DEMS. The GOP should do very well.

I've been saying this since August of last year (at least):
The GOP *should* do very well in 2014 when they have gerrymandered districts and more seats held by democrats to attack.

Of course, they *should* have taken the senate in 2012 too but they couldn't get out of their own way.

Gas prices are still below $3 a gallon in a lot of places. Thanks Mr. President.

Why do those who decry GOP gerrymandering always forget about California's 53 Congressional districts?

You know where. In the states where the voting machines aren't rigged to vote Demo crat.

It's interesting that an actual news story, with actual facts and figures, would show quite a different picture:

Early Voting Numbers Look Good for Democrats

The Dems won't be happy after the results are in.

This is National - not only local and state candidates but the House and Senate.

Who drew the 53 districts?

The California Citizens Redistricting Commission - this group took control over the Dems who were doing in the past.

It should be a good example for other states to follow instead of having whichever Party controlls the legislature on the 10 year marks draw the districts.

Agree?
