The truth is actually somewhere in the middle. It is landing younger people in the hospital. They do recover, but sometimes with organ damage. It is very contagious, more so than the flu, because no immunity.

BUT

It is most certainly not the Bubonic Plague they sold us AND very soon, people are going to know a LOT more people laid off and out of work than people with Coronavirus. That's gonna happen very soon, well before the 15 days. And when it does, the patience for the quarantines, shelter in place and everything else will have worn VERY thin.

I'm watching Fox News and so far all the same TV host are working.

I don't know how old are you, but in my younger years the TV news was a guy seating on a desk reading pages in front of him, and those were news, solely news. He told you the national and international news, the weather, etc.

Today, the news is 40% real news and 60% the personal opinions of the several TV hosts in each program.

Anyways, if this is a real emergency, a true one, then the broadcasting should be like decades ago, just one guy telling the news and the rest to stay home avoiding being exposed to the sickness.

Lets say, construction workers are less to be exposed to the virus in these warm days, while TV hosts are in greater exposure to the virus in closed environments. Why layoff construction workers then?

I wrote in another topic that public schools (in my case in Maryland) receive food products directly from China.

I heard the Governor of Maryland closing shopping malls, but no mentioning at all of discarding all the food coming from China which at the current moment are in public schools storage.

Even worst, apparently food from public schools will be given to people in the next days. Lol.

How in the world this is going to happen? Those containers (boxes and cans) might have the virus surviving in their surfaces, and those will be given to people as emergency help in the middle of this "crisis". Tell me about it.

Politicians are doing nothing but protecting themselves. In these months of elections, they will play they are very concerned about the health of people. But, if they really care about your health, then long ago cigarettes and MacDonald should have been erased from the map. Lol.

Lets say two months everything is paralyzed "to protect people from the virus". Do you think that such measure will erase the sickness forever?

If that is the case, then next Winter season lets close everything and people to stay home so we can rip off the Flu virus forever as well. Yeah!

Again, people must go to work and school as usual. Just do as TV News broadcasters do... leave home and go and do your duties and live as usual.

Studio crews are no longer what they once were.

Cameras are largely automated and need no operators.

News-readers? One can make a case that they're robotic. With a very few exceptions they are programmed by a single writer paid by The DNC.

Fact the broadcasters don't want you to know:

Except for a few big markets what you think is "local" news is produced and performed from a centralized news operation located far away from where you're watching.

Local radio news? Good look finding any. Where stations have any live news-readers they're mostly reading "wire copy" or parroting press releases handed out by local "authorities".

Master control (TV)? Nope. Automated and programmed from a corporate hub.

Transmitter operators? Haven't been required for ten years or more. Remote control. Typically not to a local "station"; rather to a centralized corporate monitoring point.

Don't weep for TV and radio people "forced to work in danger of infection". Weep, instead for TV and radio people on the streets without jobs.
