Football legend Lawrence Taylor is trying to sack his chronically ill out-of-wedlock daughter -- asking a New Jersey judge to slash his monthly support payments to the child, The Post has learned.

Taylor -- who's awaiting a criminal trial for allegedly having sex with an underage hooker -- wants to cut as much as $500 off his estimated $1,825-a-month payment for daughter Erielle, now 12, according to her mom, Ebony Washington.

Erielle is one of seven kids Taylor has fathered with different women, according to court documents.

Taylor has only publicly acknowledged four -- three with first wife Linda, and an out-of wedlock son, Brandon, whom he fathered in 1991 with insurance rep Wendy Robinson.

Washington said her daughter "rarely" hears from her father, whom she must contact via text messages or through his lawyer if she wants to talk to him.

"He promises to visit her when he's in the area, but he's never shown up, not once," Washington said.
