Latest Poll Shows The GOP Likely To Lose The House

The Teabaggers force a default and plunge this nation into another severe recession, or worse, they may find it dangerous to return to their districts.

Likely not.

Most of these gerrymandered red districts are so extreme and radical that they’d welcome a default plunging this nation into another severe recession, or worse; we’re at the mercy of rightwing madmen who want to destroy America to ‘save’ it.

Move on.org really? You might as well have cited a poll from kissobamaass.org.

It's a PPP poll dumbshit, it's clear you and the rest of your fellow right wing idiots didn't even open the link. :cuckoo:

PPP is known for it's liberal leaning methodology so you posted a link to a liberal website showing a poll from a liberal leaning pollster and thought no one would see through that could you be any more fucking stupid?

These are the same people who stock food and ammo in their bunkers. They want this. They would like nothing more.

PPP was spot on for the 2012 elections...just going to brush them off again this time as well?

That does not change the fact there polling methodology is liberal leaning a point you did not dispute so brush them off no but it does factor into how serious I take them same as it would with pollster who's polling methodology leans to the conservative side.

No, it's not.

There's no such thing as "liberal leaning methodology".

PPP is known as a company that normally does polling for the Democratic Party. Their "methodology" is only questioned by people who don't want to accept reality.

I don't hold much stock in polls, but it smacks of desperation to go the whole "unskewed" route.

OK, a question that I never even get a straight answer from Liberals. do you really think this country would be better off with a one party Democrat rule??

I believe with all my heart, that democrats would be thrilled to death if Barry could be installed as "Supreme Leader" and every republican were cast into exile in Elbe.

Democrats seek to destroy this country.

It's fascinating what "beliefs" people will come up with to make themselves feel better.

The republicans know that they have already lost this battle. They are now beginning to realize that they may very well lose the war. Like LBJ, who spent years trying to figure out how to get out of Vietnam without losing face, they can only hope to find something that they can claim as a 'victory" before giving up. In the end, Obama will throw them a bone, and then, like Nixon did, the republicans will just declare victory and withdraw from the confrontation..

A freaking poll commissioned by the radical left wing of the democrat party is accepted as fact? Lefties gotta be desperate as well as pathetic.

Whitehall, that's what you said about all the 2012 election polls. We saw how that turned out for you.

But let's check GOP shill pollsters Gallup.

Republican Party Favorability Sinks to Record Low
---
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- With the Republican-controlled House of Representatives engaged in a tense, government-shuttering budgetary standoff against a Democratic president and Senate, the Republican Party is now viewed favorably by 28% of Americans, down from 38% in September. This is the lowest favorable rating measured for either party since Gallup began asking this question in 1992.

Democrats maintain edge for 2014 - Public Policy Polling

Democrats lead the generic Congressional ballot 46/41, including a 42/33 lead with independents. Independents have shifted 21 points on the generic ballot from July when Republicans had a 39/27 advantage with them.
---

Dang, a 21-point shift among independents since this started. Golly, those Democrats sure are in trouble. It's still a longshot for Dems to take the House, but before this fiasco, it was a "no possible way".

It's to no one's surprise that the american people have absolutely had it with the GOP holding the nation hostage over their temper tantrum with the ACA, but this latest poll is a damning one for the far right.

The backlash against the GOP over their childish actions are so strong, that it's highly likely the democrats will take back the house.

Keep up the good work GOP!

24 MoveOn polls show GOP could lose House in wake of shutdown | MoveOn.Org | Democracy In Action

I don't think they will lose control of the House next year. They will lose seats though, and it will lead to them losing the House in 2016 when Hillary sweeps to victory in the Presidential race. You have to remember that due to the way districts have been drawn up in many states, Republicans have a very big advantage. They won the large majority of House seats in 2012 while losing the overall congressional vote. Democratic candidates actually took more votes.
