So what's the latest in this case? It seems Bahena-Rivera was working for Yarrabee Farms, which is owned by some Republicans of local note. He was almost certainly using a fake name to draw a check though. Were the Farm owners aware of his status or should they have been but were turning a blind eye? I assume he was working for legal wages and under legal conditions? Was his alter ego that effective there is no way the company could have known? That is very possible, at my work we aren't immigration officials. Is there an investigation into this?
