Yea, it's a problem. And the cost of the wall would be a drop in the bucket compared to what we spend on taking care of non-citizens, many who broke laws to enter this country.

  • Non-citizens are almost twice as likely (63% of noncitizen-headed households compared with 35% for citizens) to get welfare benefits, and more than three times as likely to be uninsured.
  • 45% of households headed by a non-citizen reported using food programs in 2014 (compared with 21% for U.S. citizens).
  • Half of non-citizen households use Medicaid (compared with 23% for U.S. citizens).
  • 31% of non-citizen households got cash benefits (compared with 19% for U.S. citizens).
  • Non-citizens are also far more likely to be uninsured (24%) than either native-born Americans (7.5%) or naturalized citizens (8.9%). Of the 28.5 million uninsured in 2017, almost 6 million were non-citizens (essentially one out of every three – non-citizens comprise only 7% of the U.S. population).
  • Of the 4,684,784 million non-citizen households receiving welfare, 93 percent or 4,370,385 have at least one worker.
  • Not counting school lunch and breakfast, welfare use is still 61 percent for non-citizen households compared to 33 percent for natives.
  • Welfare use tends to be high for both newer arrivals and long-time residents.

I get the idea now, what the single payer system is going to be. We pay and , they get. I guess when the kids get a call they run them to the ER room for treatment and we get the bill for 500 bucks. That sounds to fair for them not to get some cash for using the service. How about giving the poor illegals a 100 dollars for their trouble.

I would rather give them the 50 cent solution, right to the brain.

also, some illegals/non-citizens/etc use fake SSNs

A lot of Americans are unknowingly "sharing" their SS# and/or identity with an illegal alien. They started stealing the identities of young children because they know it will be years before they get caught. People should probably check their children's credit ratings to make sure they don't have bankruptcies on their record. It's insane. And the IRS was not allowed previously to send out letters to employers who have employees with other people's numbers. The leftist lawyers fought that, saying that the letters were tantamount to deportation notices. Screw the citizens who are getting their credit ruined and facing hardships because of this theft. The left's only concern is the potential 22 million voters they could get. They are for themselves, NOT America.

Remember...
Never blame the nation they left.

Crazy, isn't it? They escape from countries because there is little food, no opportunities and they are sick of being ruled by a dictator. So they come here and want to support the radical leftists who are trying to change America into one of the third world shitholes. Go figure.

The left blasted Trump for calling some places shitholes, then insist that we cannot deport illegals back to the shitholes they came from. The left contradicts itself constantly. Power is all they want and that means blasting everything opponents say, even if it's something they themselves said yesterday.

Does that info reflect undocumented immigrants or those here legally or both?

I thought illegals weren't eligible for any of the social services this country offers??

So. How are they getting those social services??

I agree. These assholes cost we the tax payer billions every year. We even have to educate their illegal kids. Not cheap.

Build the damned wall. They won't be able to get in and once its built we can boot those that are here out. They won't be able to get back in either.

Win, win for we the tax payer.

You're the one that put up the selective link, so shouldn't you answer that question. The CIS does show what households with earners with the least education make the least money. And perhaps that should factor into immigration, although perhaps being eligible for asylum should be too.

Nope, I didn't put the link up and I'd like an answer to my question.

Illegals aren’t eligible for welfare . So your wall does virtually nothing .

The real problem is stagger wages , housing costs ,and income inequality . Hard working blue collars types (like many immigrants are) have trouble making ends meet. So they may score some food stamps or use public health plans because thier jobs doesn’t provide health.

WTF, you start with "illegals aren't eligible", and finish with excuses why they get welfare?
