Last Movie You Saw.....

T
The last is The Aviator by Scorsese. One of the worst films ever. The Director tends to make films that are a real shit. Precisely about the last watched film, the movie is about insane man (in medicine term) which is trying to show people something special. Apart from this insane hero there is nothing in the movie to watch to.

My mark is 1|10.

Oh no, I saw a movie yesterday that was way worse... not that I wasn't warned by the 1 star rating...

BENCHWARMERS (with David Spade and Rob Schneider)

Hubby said I have never seen a David Spade movie that was good. I mentioned Hot Tub time machine, he said, exactly (was he even IN Hot Tub Time Machine.. I forget LOL!)
Benchwarmers had its moments....

I can deal without the far and vomit humor. I guess that is a guy thing because it's lost on me.
some of the other things are funny (squirrels flying out of trees etc.)
They're funny when they are completely unexpected. I think I caught Benchwarmers when My stepson and his friends were watching it....

My last movie was last night in Niagara Falls....I was waiting for the grandson to wake from an afternoon nap and decided to watch Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

I've not heard of that... but, there are so many movies. Hubby is so picky, I'll watch anything.
Want to see more TV shows, like Rectify (more so that movies....)

He may like it. Deals with Lycans (Werewolves) and Vampyres, and their centuries old war.....If your into the whole SF&F genre...

Sounds more like something his daughters would like... he's a Clint Eastwood/Charles Bronson type guy :)

Kind of limited....I enjoy just about anything with a decent storyline....or good special effects in the absence of a good story. lol

Jupiter Ascending being a case of the latter....The storyline had real possibilities, but they boned it with too much side crap.

I agree.... don't care about any genre, as long as the story is good and there is good character development, I'm interested...

Now that is what I call a good porn title.:lmao:

Watched "Snowpiercer" last night. Maybe a C-. End was horrible, physics non-existant (for a present day setting, how'd he build the train exactly?) Where's all the food, bottles of booze, etc. coming from if the train never stops? All kinds of logic holes. Metaphor so obvious it was annoying. Rips off Matrix 3 with the 'screwed over' at the end, but instead of doing anything with it it just wraps everything up with a big kablooie.

Woulda been pissed if I"d paid the $5 for on-demand, but as it was free it's just 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Where do you all find these movies? Never even heard of them!

Most recently- at the theaters saw Spy(Spies?)- laughed through the whole thing.
Fury Road- was prepared to dislike it, but loved it.
Jurrassic World- okay- give it a B

Watched a movie about Temple Grandin a couple nights ago that was very good.
Oh watched the first episode second season of Rectify- very good show- so hard to watch though- very dark and troubling.

If you haven't watched the Sherlock Holmes series from BBC for the last several seasons- its worth a watch.

Saw Jurrassic World...best scene was the huge gator eating the shark.
The scenery and dinosaurs were great but the story was just too cheesy after seeing Fury Road.
We saw them a week apart.

Last night I saw the film named Alabama Moon for the first time. It was based on a book of the same name. To me it was good, but it was sad too. What led me to it is one of my favorite actors being one of the main characters, Uriah Shelton that is. :) :) :)

God bless you and him always!!! :) :) :)
