Where have you gone John Murtha? Our lonely nation turns its' eyes to you

With the passing of that great progressive Murtha, the question is: Who will pick up his mantle of Terrorist Apologist?

Murtha slandered the troops before the world, declaring that “Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.” Then-Illinois Sen. Barack Obama unabashedly backed Murtha’s smears. NYTimes reporter Paul von Zielbauer initially filed over 30 stories on the case, which the paper had hyped as the “defining atrocity” of the Iraq war.
And then: One by one over the last six years, the Marines were exonerated.

Can't wait. Murtha was a poor example of a veteran.

He certainly is - as is John Kerry.

Since I'm not a jarhead, it's not really my place, but I refer to Murtha as an ex-Marine, not a former Marine. IMO, he gave up the right to that honorable title.

The left has always been quick to blame the military first, even if it means repeating verbatim terrorist press releases, like Murtha did.

Ask Joe Barton. I hear he's available. He was so good at apologizing to BP. Republicans even rewarded him with the chairmanship of the House Energy Committee. Nice.

The marines were exonerated by those who paid them to commit the murders.

We still have democrat senator John Kerry who called American Troops "terrorists". You have to wonder about the logic of the administration authorizing the killing of an American citizen and his son with a multi million dollar piece of technology and then placing Marines on trial for accidentally killing a civilian in a combat zone. Or how about the attorney general authorizing the transfer of over 2,000 illegal weapons to Mexico resulting in an estimated hundreds of Mexican citizens killed and one US Border Patrol agent. Put the attorney general on trial for manslaughter and see how that turns out before you second guess Marines in a combat zone.

"On 19 November 2005 a US marine squad was struck by a roadside bomb in Haditha, in Iraq's Anbar province, killing one soldier and seriously injuring two others. According to civilians they then went on the rampage, slaughtering 24 people.

"They included a 76-year-old man in a wheelchair and a three-year-old child. It was a massacre. "I think they were just blinded by hate … and they just lost control," said James Crossan, one of the injured marines.

"When he heard the news, Major General Steve Johnson, the American commander in Anbar province at the time, saw no cause for further examination.

"'It happened all the time … throughout the whole country.

"So you know, maybe, if I was sitting here [in Virginia] and heard that 15 civilians were killed I would have been surprised and shocked and done more to look into it. But at that point in time I felt that it was just a cost of doing business on that particular engagement.'"

"The cost of doing business always seems more reasonable when somebody else is paying the price."

Are you talking about the woman whose son was killed in the fake war in Iraq? That woman who actually lost a son? Do you think her son would appreciate you calling his grieving mother a "nut job". You shitstain. You should be ashamed.

DO you think her son would appreciate those pictures of her kissing Bush

Sad to say, it seems like a lot of her family has given up on her.

You're not her family shitstain.

Do you think her son would appreciate her calling terrorists "freedom fights" and saying American troops (you know, like her son) were responsible for creating terrorism?

“You know that the president says Iraq is the central front in the war on terrorism, don’t you believe that?” asked Mark Knoller of CBS, surrounded by a host of other reporters.

“No, because it’s not true,” Sheehan replied. “You know Iraq was no threat to the United States of America until we invaded. I mean they’re not even a threat to the United States of America. Iraq was not involved in 9-11, Iraq was not a terrorist state. But now that we have decimated the country, the borders are open, freedom fighters from other countries are going in, and they [American troops] have created more terrorism by going to an Islamic country, devastating the country and killing innocent people in that country. The terrorism is growing and people who never thought of being car bombers or suicide bombers are now doing it because they want the United States of America out of their country.”
Answer the question: Do you think her son would appreciate that?

so sad

how the Left and the MSM used her and now
threw her under the bus

Well to be fair
They follow the example of Papa Obama and his associates
Rev Wright - 20 years
tossed aside like trash
