Largest GOP polling edge in 68 years!

The Republicans deserved to be thrown out in 2006 and the Democrats most definitely deserve to be thrown out in 2010!

Tidal wave? 10-point poll edge for GOP - Jonathan Allen and Richard E. Cohen - POLITICO.com

Yay!

The vicious cycle continues!

MAYBE, just maybe, the GOP has learned something.

If they can manage to help cut spending while at the same time resisting the urge to go full retard with investigation after investigation in an attempt to unseat a President I might start to believe it. I'm not holding my breath though.

with the number of incumbents that either lost or had tough re-election primaries, they better hope they change or 2 years from now they will be back out on their asses

I remember, during the Presidential-Primary (for '08), how Hillary was a slam-dunk....and, how Joe Sestak never stood-a-chance against Arlen Specter.

Totally agree.

Lets just hope and pray the GOP can turn the economy around.

Just fix the damned country and forget the rest of that bullshit.

No shit. I better see the same rancor from the Tea Party when the Grand Old Pantywaists are in charge.

STOP TRYING TO MANAGE THE ECONOMY! GET OUT OF THE WAY!

The good? No more ramming down the throats of the people bills of 2000 pages and no understanding.
The bad? The GOP.

Time to clean house is what I say.

While I would really like this to be a Republican Tsunami year, I am only cautiously optimistic.

30 months ago Hillary was the anointed one. And the way she got steamrollered should be a cautious about depending on polls.

But if this is right, I will be very happy

They're already talking about investigation after investigation.

GOP plans wave of White House probes - Glenn Thrush - POLITICO.com

Congress comlains about the lack of time to get things done, yet they had no proiblem dealing with steroids in MLB.

Bunch of cry baby losers who are overpaid and underworked. We shouyld be ashamed of ourselves for continually voting them in.

I'm all for it IF it's the right kind and ;imho; that is a fiscally conservative and more libertarian kind, if not, we have the same big government types that controlled things from the past GOP nightmare and about the best thing that can come out of that is a couple of years of political gridlock and slowing things down a tad, like replacing a rocket car with a Dodge Viper.

I am 'hoping' for a Republican victory, because drugs have side-effects and they should be kicking in about now.

This is encouraging news however i do feel that some are getting their expectations a little out of whack. Taking the House back looks like a real possibility but taking the Senate back is not. The best we can hope for in the Senate is to just gain some seats and make the Senate balanced again. With this balance, this disastrous Socialist/Progressive agenda will be over. That will be good enough for me. Hey i'll still hold out some hope that the Senate is in reach but realistically i know it's probably not. Either way, gains can be made. Get out and vote people. Make 2010 count.
