California is trying to pass more gun control.....on top of all the other gun control it already has....and the largest police union in California opposes this anti civil rights legislation....
Largest California Police Union Joins Opposition To Gun Restriction Bill
The California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA) joined the coalition Monday out of concern the proposal will actually reduces public safety. The Coalition for Civil Liberties has been at the forefront of opposition to the proposal.
“It’s telling that California’s law enforcement experts are overwhelmingly critical of Newsom’s proposal,” Coalition Co-Chair Chuck Michel said in a statement. “They’re the ones risking their lives every day and have a unique vantage point on what it takes to keep our streets safe. We should be listening to them, not politicians out to promote their own personal interest.”
