Cap and trade would make everything else they have done so far seem like nothing at all. Would be a fatal blow to our economy, and a massive boom for people poised to make Billions of off it. Like Al Gore for example.

They'll pass a LOT of pork, but nothing of consequence. Cap and Trade and Amnesty would be repealed post-haste, and they know that.

So they'll try to line their pockets and hope the New Congress' attention is focused elsewhere in January.

Nothing they pass will be repealed while Obama is still in the WH. Think Veto.

no, the house already passed a cap and trade bill, the senate balked.

frankly it won't matter much. the senate ala scott makes 41, so they won't be able to amend anything the house sends and will have to swallow it straight away....none of them are going to dance with nancy again...and harry may not be there.


There are 19 dems among the 33 senate seats up for reelection in 2012, who don't want to make themselves vulnerable in what may be another election cycle with high unemployment etc etc ....

the electoral map does not favor them in 2012 and after next Tuesday they will have a wake up call...... so I am not sure they could even muster 50 to get much done at all.
