I become nausiated when I see how popular culture PRAISES women who refuse to submit to my will like little slaves, appropriately, and Men who refuse to lead appropriately.

Not really. I'm sure not ALL Islamic people abuse their women, and I know SOME Christian men do. However, if you look at the cultures spawned under the influences of the separate religions, you will see a marked difference in the VALUE that is placed on women.
The Bible says to submit, not to obey. It's talking about giving men RESPECT instead of being all up in their faces. It's talking about a chain of command in a household, and the submission applies only to husbands and wives, not to ALL women and ALL men. Although, in general, I think it is easier to work with men if you treat them with an attitude of respect and are willing to bite your tongue at times. Just as it is easier to work with women if you are sympathic & supportive.
