I heard something funny today. Mark Stein (I think that's his name...brit dude) was filling in for Rush today, and he said people who actually have jobs should enjoy their labor days. He said Labor Day could function as a practice run at unemployment!

It cracked me up!

He actually was a pretty funny guy all around. The accent gets to me after a while, but he went on a tangent about signage and wasted money that was hilarious.

He also pointed out that it's idiotic to fund an imam to go hobnob with Muslims in the middle east and call it multi-religious outreach.

That was a pretty good point.

O my God. Labor day was started by socialist Unions. Tea Partiers and Republicans unite. Vow to not observe the Holiday and go to work.

"But Peter McGuire's place in Labor Day history has not gone unchallenged. Many believe that Matthew Maguire, a machinist, not Peter McGuire, founded the holiday. Recent research seems to support the contention that Matthew Maguire, later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson, N.J., proposed the holiday in 1882 while serving as secretary of the Central Labor Union in New York. What is clear is that the Central Labor Union adopted a Labor Day proposal and appointed a committee to plan a demonstration and picnic."

That is hilarious. In fact, I think that I just popped a hernia laughing.

Since the Conservatives absolutely hate working Americans and working families, when will they advocate for Capitalism Day or Love a Wall Street Broker Day or even, God Bless Those Terribly Overworked and Stressed Out C.E.O.s Day? Maybe Golden Parachute Day or Stock Option Day? Or Overpaid Executive Day?

You sure hate Labor.
