Being from Brooklyn, NY, I've known many Jews, some of whom I've been quite friendly with. But I have a problem with American Jews who harbor blind loyalty to and unmitigated support for U.S. defense of Israel regardless of the cost and the consequences which thus far have been significant.

As far as my personal relationships with Jews is concerned these occur on an individual and absolutely unbiased basis. While I've learned it's best to look closely where Jews and politics are concerned I have vigorously promoted the nomination of VT Senator Bernie Sanders for President in 2016. I have no bias or prejudice against the Israeli people in general but I harbor a strong dislike for Israel's government and its tactics. I believe it would serve the interests of the U.S. to stop treating Israel like the 51st state of our Union and discontinue its de facto protectorate status -- which was the major provocation for the 9/11 attack.

This one-way "alliance" with Israel has been enormously costly to this Nation and there is substantial cause to believe it is the result of efforts by AIPAC, JINSA, and other American/Jewish organizations.

Yes. I have had Jewish friends. None at present because I moved from Brooklyn over thirty years ago and while I am acquainted with a few Jews where I'm living now I do not regard acquaintances as friends.

As far as the distinction between "good Jews" and "bad Jews," if you wish to frame it in those terms it's okay with me.
