Korea's Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan says the country will actively pursue a military information sharing pact with China.
Speaking before lawmakers of the Foreign Affairs and Trade committee on Wednesday, Kim was grilled about pushing ahead with an information sharing deal with JAPAN at a Cabinet meeting without first consulting the National Assembly.
A ruling Saenuri Party lawmaker suggested a Korea-China information sharing pact should be pursued alongside a Korea-Japan deal to dispell concerns and justify the content of the agreement.
Kim confirmed that the signing of a Korea-China pact has been discussed, and he vowed to give it a thorough review
